  • Day 1 : ARRIVE DELHI

    Arrive Delhi by International flight. Meeting upon arrival at Delhi International airport by our representative & transfer to hotel. Delhi, The capital of India, is fascinating city with complexities, beauty and dynamism, where the past co-exists with the present. Many dynasties ruled from here and the city is rich in the architecture of its monuments. Delhi is not only the present metropolis of India but also a necropolis.   • Day 2 : IN DELHI

    After leisure breakfast at the hotel, proceed to discover the city tour of Old Delhi Visiting India’s largest mosque, built by Shah Jahan. Ride a cycle rickshaw from the Jama Masjid through the lanes and by-lanes of Chandi Chawk, the heart of Old Delhi. Experience the life in this part of Old Delhi, which is always on the move. Visit the spice market, food street etc. The ride will culminate at the historic Red Fort - Shah Jahan’s elegant citadel in red sandstone, built in the 17th century AD. Visit the Red Fort from outside as you will visit Agra Fort in Agra, which is bigger than Red Fort and is also built by the same Mughal Emperor. Also visit, the Raj Ghat, the memorial to the Father of the Nation, Mahatma Gandhi. Later in the afternoon, proceed to explore the city of New Delhi visiting the Tomb of Humayun built in 16th century AD, a magnificent structure in red sand stone and white marble, a fine example of a garden tomb and a precursor of the Taj Mahal. Drive to the Qutab Minar, a Tower of Victory started by Qutabuddin Aibak of the Slave Dynasty which ruled over Delhi in the 12th century and completed by his successors. Within the courtyard of the adjoining Quwwat-ul-Islam mosque stands the famous Iron Pillar, dating back to the 4th century AD which bears Sanskrit inscription. The pillar has puzzled scientists, as its iron has not rusted through the past centuries. Drive along the Rajpath towards the residence of the President of the Republic of India, Rashtrapathi Bhawan which is flanked by the houses of the Parliament and the Government Secretariat buildings.   • Day 3 : DELHI / AGRA

    After breakfast at the hotel, transfer to Agra by AC car (230 kms/ 3-4 hrs drive). Arrive Agra & transfer to hotel. Agra is famous as the home to one of the Seven Wonders of the World, the Taj Mahal. The architectural splendor of the mausoleums, the fort and the palaces in Agra are a vivid reminder of the opulence of the legendary Mughal Empire.   • Day 4 : AGRA / FATEHPUR SIKRI / ABHANERI/ SAWAIMADHOPUR

    Early morning visit to Taj Mahal, later return to hotel for breakfast and proceed to visit Agra fort. Taj Mahal, the inimitable poem in white marble was built over a period of 22 years, by the Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan in 1630, for his Queen, Mumtaz Mahal to enshrine her mortal remains. It is one of the seven modern wonders of the World. The Agra Fort was built by three Mughal Emperors, Akbar the Great, his son Jahangir and grandson Shah Jahan in succession. Started in 1565 AD, the fort is a masterpiece of design and construction. Within the fort are a number of exquisite buildings including Jahangir’s Palace, Khaas Mahal, Sheesh Mahal, Diwan-i-Am, Diwan-iKhas and Musamman Burj, the Octagonal tower, where Emperor Shah Jahan, the builder of the Taj Mahal was imprisoned by his son Aurangazeb for seven years and died a prisoner. After the visit, transfer to Sawaimadhopur enroute visiting Fathepur Sikri and Abhaneri(330 Kms / 8 hrs drive including visit). Fatehpur Sikri, the exquisite city built by Akbar the Great in 1569, in red sandstone, with its fort, palaces and mosques. It was abandoned 14 years after its creation due to political reasons. View the grandeur of the Diwan-iam, a vast courtyard where the Emperor gave a public audience, Diwan-i-khas, an unique building for private audience, the Emperor's private Chamber, the Palaces of the various queens, the chief minister and the Panch Mahal which are among some of the important buildings in this residential complex. The Friday Mosque and the exquisite tomb of the Sufi Saint, Sheik Salim Chisti are in the religious grounds set aside in a separate enclosure adjacent to the secular buildings Abhaneri, is a village in the Dausa district of Rajasthan. The place is widely popular as it is home to a colossal step well, Chand Baori, which is considered among the most beautiful step wells of India. The village of Abhaneri is believed to have been established by Samrath Mihir Bhoj who was a Gurjar Pratihar king. The village of Abhaneri is also known for various Rajasthani folk dances which include Ghoomar, Kalbelia and Bhawai. Ghoomar is a dance of the Bhil tribe while Kalbelia is a dance performed by the women of Kalbelia tribe, who make their living by catching snakes and selling their venom. Arrive Sawaimadhopur and check-in at hotel. Ranthambore National Park is considered to be the countries best for observing and photographing the activities of the tiger. The park, covering an area of 392 sq. km. is home to more than 300 species of birds. The tiger, hyena, rate, jackal and fox are among those constituting the carnivorous population here.   • Day 5 : IN SAWAIMADHOPUR

    Early morning: Visit Ranthambhore National Park by shared open jeep along with English speaking naturalist. Return to hotel for breakfast. Post Lunch: Visit Ranthambhore National park by shared open jeep along with English speaking naturalist. Dinner & overnight in Sawai Madhopur

  • Day 6 : SAWAIMADHOPUR / JAIPUR

    After breakfast at the hotel, transfer to Jaipur by AC car (150Kms / 3-4 hrs drive). Upon arrival, check-in at the hotel. Continue…. Jaipur - the capital of Rajasthan is color washed pink - the color associated with auspiciousness and Rajput hospitality. This Pink City of fairy tale palaces, rugged fortresses perched on barren hills, and a city of broad avenues is picturesque. The first planned city of its time, Jaipur is encircled by a formidable wall. Rest of the day at leisure Overnight in Jaipur

  • Day 7 : IN JAIPUR

    After leisure breakfast at the hotel, proceed for an excursion to Amber Fort & Palace. Drive past the palace of winds, popularly known’s as Hawa Mahal, which is just a facade built for the ladies of the Royal household in the 19th century. Later visit the capital of the erstwhile state of Jaipur until 1728. This fort is perched on a hill. it has hall of Public and Private audience, a Sheesh Mahal (Palace of mirrors) various marble palaces which are marvelous examples of the medieval Rajput architecture. Visit the Temple of Amba (Mother of Goddess), patron deity of the Royal family is at the entrance to the palace. Enjoy a short elephant ride up to the fort on which the fort is situated. Afternoon: City tour of Jaipur visiting the former royal residence built in a blend of Rajasthani and Mughal styles. It now houses a museum with a super collection of Rajasthani costumes, an armoury of Mughal and Rajputs with weapons of arms, art gallery with an excellent collection of miniature paintings, carpets & royal paraphernalia. Visit the Jantar Mantar - an astrological and astronomical Observatory built by Maharaja Jai Singh in 18th century, which is remarkable for its accuracy of the instruments even in the present times. Overnight in Jaipur

  • Day 8 : JAIPUR /JODHPUR

    After breakfast heading towards Jodhpur by road journey (5 hours drive) and on reaching transfer to hotel. Jodhpur is a famous tourist attraction in Rajasthan because it has a rich heritage it got down from the Rajput clan of Marwar that flourished here. Afternoon proceed to visit magnificent, Mehrangarh Fort (a large fortress on a hilltop which offers a panoramic view of Jodhpur) and Jaswant Thada a memorial. Night stay at Jodhpur.

  • Day 9 : Jodhpur - Udaipur

    Post Breakfast, Proceed Towards Udaipur (5 Hours). En Route Visit The Ranakpur Jain Temples, A Famous Jain Pilgrimage Site (Devoted To The Worship Of Rishaba Ji: A Jain Prophet). These Temples Were Constructed Using White Marble And Feature Beautiful Carvings Work Done By Erudite Craftsmen Of Yester Years. On Arrival At Udaipur, Check In To Hotel. Udaipur Has Various Royal Legends Attached To It And It Has Been Named After Rana Udai Singh (Ruler Of Mewar). Overnight Stay At Udaipu

  • Day 10 : Udaipur

    After sumptuous breakfast embark your Udaipur sightseeing with mesmerizing city palace located on the bank of lake pichola followed by visit of crystal gallery, shaleion ki bari and sajjangarh fort. Evening enjoy cultural dance show at Baggore ki Haveli. Overnight at Udaipur.

  • Day 11 : Udaipur / Cochin

    After Breakfast Drop To Udaipur Airport To Board Flight In To Cochin . On Arrive Cochin Check In To Hotel , Overnight In Cochin

  • Day 12 : In Cochin

    After leisure breakfast at the hotel, proceed for the city tour of Cochin visiting the synagogue - built in 1568 AD. It contains Grand Scrolls of the Old Testament and the copper plates containing the privileges granted to the Jews by the Cochin rulers. The floor of the Synagogue is paved with exquisite Chinese hand painted tiles. Overlooking the Jewish synagogue is Mattancherry Palace, home of the former Rajas of Cochin. Today it holds royal palanquins, weapons, robes and beautiful murals of ancient Hindu epics painted in vegetable dyes. When the Dutch ousted the Portuguese on January 7, 1663, the people of Cochin renamed Mattancherry Palace as the "Dutch Palace" to honour the Netherlanders. Visit St. Francis Church, built originally by the Portuguese in 1510 AD. It is believed to be the oldest church in India. The building was originally constructed out of timber and later reconstructed in stone masonry during the 16th century. Vasco Da Gama, who died in Cochin in 1524, was buried here before his remains were returned to Portugal 14 years later. Also visit the Chinese fishing nets at Fort Kochi, located in the Kochi city of Kerala, make up a very popular tourist attraction. They are fixed land installations, which are used for a very unique and unusual method of fishing. Operated from the shore, these nets are set up on bamboo and teak poles and held horizontally by huge mechanisms, which lower them into the sea. They look somewhat like hammocks and are counter-weighed by large stones tied to ropes. Overnight in Cochin

  • Day 13 : Cochin / Alleppey- Houseboat

    After breakfast, transfer to Alleppey boat jetty by car (65 kms / 1.5 hrs drive). Upon arrival, embark on your private houseboat and sail through Vembanad Lake. To experience this world of simple pleasures, you'll skim past ancient Chinese fishing nets, water lilies, lush paddy fields, coir villages, rustic homes, temples, churches and coconut groves. Your houseboat will have a captain besides a cook cum attendant. You will be served delicious lunch & dinner during your stay on the houseboat. At around 5 pm, the houseboat will be docked at some nice place as after sunset, sailing is not allowed on the lake because the fishermen come to collect their catch. Dinner & overnight on the HOUSEBOAT .

  • Day 14 : Alleppey / Periyar

    After early breakfast at the hotel, transfer to Thekkady by car (140 kms / 3-4 hrs drive). Upon arrival, check-in at the hotel.Periyar Tiger Reserve, 777 sq kms in area, is set in a rich, mixed deciduous forest, interspersed with open areas of tall grass. Periyar has a splendid artificial lake dotted with snags of dead wood, which provides a perch for water birds: darter, grey heron, egret and kingfisher. It is one of the finest habitats for the Asiatic elephant. These enormous mammals swim in the waters and streams and usually can be observed during an exciting boat ride. You may view a tiger, leopard, sambar, wild dog, barking deer, the unique Nilgiri langur-the lion tailed macaque and a variety of birds. Afternoon: Visit Periyar National Park by boat to see the wildlife in their natural habitat. Overnight in Thekkady

  • Day 15 : Periyar / Madurai

    After breakfast transfer to Madurai (175km /3.5hr) Free at leisure Late evening : Attend night ceremony at the Meenakshi Temple. This ceremony takes place every evening at 9 PM, when the temple bronze of Lord Shiva is carried to the bed chamber of Parvati. The procession is accompanied by religious prayer and temple music. Overnight in Madurai

  • Day 16 : Madurai / Chettinad

    After breakfast at the hotel, proceed for the city tour of Madurai visiting the Tirumal Nayak Palace constructed in the Indo-Saracenic style in 1639 AD. The curved dome, standing without the support of a girder or rafter, is an architectural feat. Pass by the Mariamman Teppakulam - the tank with a mandapam in the center. Also visit Shree Meenakshi temple. Afternoon drive to Chettinad Overnight in Chettinad.

  • Day 17 : Chettinadu

    After breakfast at the hotel visit amazing architectural old houses ,Athangudi man made tile factory , Chettinad cotton and fabric weaving centre, the handicraft centers (depending on season) antique shopping, visiting the local daily markets, Pillayarpatti ( Pilliarpatti) temple, Thirumayam fort .Overnight in Chettinadu.

  • Day 18 : Chettinadu / Trichi / Tanjore

    After breakfast at the hotel, proceed to Tanjore en-route visit Trichy) . Trichy, a town in the Cauvery delta, was a Chola citadel in 2 BC. The present town and the fort were built by the Nayak Kings of Madurai in 16-17 century. Visit the temple dedicated to Ganesha on the magnificent Rock Fort which is 84 m high. The 437 steps cut into the rock lead up to the temple built at its highest point. The view of the countryside from the temple is superb.Evening visit the city tour of Thanjavur visiting the magnificent Brihadeeswara Temple completed in 1010 AD by Raja Chola. This temple is a living testimony to the sculptural and architectural excellence of the Cholas. It is to be seen to be admired and believed. Visit Thanjavur Palace, partly built by the Nayaks in 1550 AD and partly by the Marathas. Also visit Saraswathi Mahal Library which has an extensive collection of over 30,000 manuscripts, palm leaf inscriptions and books Overnight in Tanjore .

  • Day 19 : TANJORE / CHIDAMBARAM / PONDICHERRY

    After breakfast drive to Pondicherry en-route visit Chidambaram). Chidambaram was the capital of the Cholas from 907 to 1310 AD. The name is derived from Chit Ambaram which literally means 'wisdom and intelligence infused into the atmosphere'. Lord Nataraja, an aspect of the Divine, is said to have emerged from the sacred space as the Cosmic Dancer and performed His Cosmic Dance before two of his devotees. It is a special temple with an unusual vimana over the Sanctum Sanctorum, which holds the Divine as 'Space' without any form. The 108 Karanas (poses) of the Classical Dance form of South India are depicted in sculpture on the walls of the temple and are excellent.Arrive pondicherry check in at the hotel Overnight in Pondicherry.

  • Day 20 : Pondicherry

    Visit Auroville. Designed in February 1968, the City of Dawn was set up as the place of constant progress of unending education, an experiment in international living and understanding. Auroville aims to bridge the past and the future and belongs to all humanity. The Matri mandir (pavilion of the Mother) is the soul, the living symbol of Auroville's aspiration for the Divine. Also visit Aurobindo Ashram, founded in mid the 20th century by Sri Aurobindo. Various craft units – paper manufacturing, silk batik and marble printing, are run by the Ashram and are worth a visit. Overnight in Pondicherry

  • Day 21 : PONDICHERRY / MAHABALIPURAM

    After breakfast proceed to Mahabalipuram (120km / 2.5hrs) Arrive in Mahabalipuram & check-in at the hotel. Mahabalipuram, Mamallapuram is a historical retreat set amidst natural beauty. This was the ancient seaport of the Pallavas who were great connoisseurs of art. Though ravaged by sea and wind, these unique temples and caves hewn out of solid granite still bear testimony to the magnificent heritage of Dravidian architecture and the genius of the Pallavas.   • Day 22 : Mahabalipuram
