  After breakfast, check out and travel to THEKKADY .The main attraction in Thekkady is boating in the lake Periyar near the Mullaperiyar Dam. Boating takes around two hours and if you are lucky and one is often lucky, you will spot wild animals herding in to drink the lake water particularly in the early hours of the day. This place is a photographer joy so if you love photography just click on... Many award winning photographs has come out of this heaven. Thekkady is also known for adventure tourism. The Forest Department offers many programs including Periyar Tiger Trail, Nature walk, Bamboo Rafting, etc. Back to hotel and overnight stay at Thekkady.

  HAWA BEACH It is one of the 3 good beaches in the Kovalam belt. A good place for 1st time visitor but not as beautiful as the Lighthouse beach. The scenic beauty of this beach is of its own kind with a beautiful sunset if anyone wants to see.
  
  SAMUDRA BEACH Since we stayed at the Uday Samudra, the Samudra beach was just across. It was a comparatively clean beach. The ocean is magnificent, the waves coming in very serene.
