Murchison Falls Safari Uganda Tour

Day wise Itinerary

• Day 1 : Transfer to Murchison Falls National Park

  On this first day, you will meet a guide from AA safaris and tours ltd when he comes to pick you up from the hotel after breakfast, brief you about the trip and drive to Murchison falls national park which is the largest national park that Uganda has with the huge population of wildlife. You will go through the prominent Luwero triangle into Masindi district and you will also go trough the Budongo forest if your lodge is located on the southern side of the park. Budongo is a home to a number of primates like the chimpanzees, monkeys, lots of birds and you may be interested in seeing before you continue to that park to visit the top of the falls to have the best view of the Nile as it looks beautiful as it forces its way through the rocks and forming a very beautiful scenery which you will definitely love to. Here you will see the calm Nile plunging its self through a narrow gorge. From here you will head to your lodge for dinner and over night at;
  
  Luxury; Chobe safari lodge/ Pakuba safari lodge/ Paraa safari lodge/ Nile Safari camp
  
  Mid range: Sambiya River lodge/ fort Murchison lodge/ Murchison River lodge/Budongo Eco lodge
  
  Budget: Red chili rest camp/ Sambiya Lodge bandas

• Day 2 : Game Drives, Boat/ Launch Cruise Safari.

  You will take coffee to warm up and then head out for your early morning game drive in the northern part of Murchison falls National Park with your tour guide who will look for the different wildlife like the, hyenas, leopards, jackals, lions, buffaloes, Uganda Kob , elephants, several Savannah wild life species. You should be through by mid morning and the drive back to the lodge to have your full breakfast and the relax around the lodge as you wait for lunch. During the afternoon hours like at 2 pm, you will, you will go for a launch cruise along the Victoria Nile and this boat takes you to the bottom of the falls and during the boat ride, you will get the opportunity to see those huge water animals like the hippos, the crocodiles, the buffaloes and plenty of birds will be along the shore. Later, you will head back to the lodge for dinner.

• Day 3 : Chimpanzee Trekking - Kampala.

  After your breakfast, you will and then drive to Budongo forest for chimpanzee tracking but this an optional activity or you may chose to have a walk in this vast forest where you will get to see a variety of primates and chimpanzees but the decision must be made prior so that permits are reserved if you are to trek. This forest has one of the high populations of primates which include chimpanzees, baboons, colobus monkeys which you will see swinging freely between the forest trees. After this, you will have your lunch and proceed to Kampala. This is the end of Uganda Safari with AA Safaris and Ltd the trip.
