Ooty is a town and municipality in the Indian state of Tamil Nadu. It is the capital of the Nilgiris district. It is a popular hill station located in the Nilgiri Hills. Doddabetta Peak gives a view of Ooty from the heights of Nilgiri. Coonoor Tea Gardens, Sim’s Park offering some wonderful views of varieties of flowers & trees and Dolphin’s Nose which offers scenic beauty of small mountains, springs, tea gardens etc from the top. Botanical Garden in Ooty is well known and one of the oldest botanical garden in country. It is also special for its green lawns, rare trees, variety of different collections of flowering plants, clearwater pools etc.

Coonoor is a Taluk and a municipality in the Nilgiris district in the state of Tamil Nadu, India. It is known for its production of Nilgiri tea. Coonoor is located at an altitude of 1,850 m (6,070 ft) above sea level, and is the second largest hill station in the Nilgiri hills after Ooty. It is an ideal base for a number of trekking expeditions leading into the Nilgiris. The nearest airport is Coimbatore International Airport about 79 km from Coonoor town. Coonoor is also home to the Pasteur Institute of India, which is responsible for producing Anti-rabies Vaccine and DPT group of Vaccines for the Expanded Program of Immunization of Government of India.Entrances fees of all monuments mentioned in program.

Day wise Itinerary

• Day 1 : DELHI – BANGALORE

  Arrive Bangalore. On arrival transfer to Ooty. The beautiful hill station established by the British in the early part of the 19th Century. A fine retreat from the heat of the plains. The Beautiful Ooty Lake, Set Among Groves Of Eucalyptus Trees is a popular spot with its facilities for boating. Day free till lunch. Then proceed for half day tour around Ooty places covering Botanical Gardens, Ooty Lake, Dam and back to hotel. Overnight stay at Ooty.

• Day 2 : OOTY / COONOOR

  After breakfast, proceed for a half day sightseeing of Coonoor. Located at a lower altitude, with a warmer climate. Coonoor is a popular hill resort in its own way. You can take a Optional toy train to Coonoor to enjoy the scenic beauties. The well laid-out Sim’s park here is a beautiful botanical garden, with many rare flowers, shrubs and trees. Lambs rock and Dolphin’s Nose are some of the viewpoints and picnic spots around Coonoor. Overnight stay at Ooty.

• Day 3 : OOTY

  After break proceed for sightseeing of Film Deewane. Visit Pykara Lake, Waterfalls, Pye Mund, Film Shooting Locations (landscapes), Outer view of the Gymnast khana Club & the Golf Course and the Rose Garden.
• Day 4 : OOTY / BANGALORE DEPARTURE

  Day free. Later check-out of the hotel and proceed to station / Airport to connect to your destination.
