The state was integrated as a part of India in 1948, when the then ruler of Jammu & Kashmir agreed to join the Indian federation and the state was given a special status under article 370 of the Indian constitution.

Day wise Itinerary

  • Day 1 : Arrive Srinagar

    Arrive Srinagar & check in at Hotel. Check in Houseboat upon arrival. Evening enjoy Shikara ride on Dal Lake. Overnight stay at Houseboat.

  • Day 2 : Srinagar - Gulmarg - Srinagar

    After Breakfast, full day excursion to Gulmarg. A ride on the famous Gondola-Cable Car is highly recommended. Evening return back to Srinagar. Overnight stay at Houseboat.

  • Day 3 : Srinagar

    After Breakfast, check out from the Houseboat & transfer to Hotel. Later proceed for sightseeing tour of Mughal Gardens visiting Nishant Bagh & Shankracharaya Temple. Overnight stay at Hotel.

  • Day 4 : Srinagar Departure

    After Breakfast, check out from the Hotel & transfer to Srinagar Airport.
