Day wise Itinerary

• Day 1 : Arrive Delhi

  Arrival at Delhi international airport. Clear immigration and visa formalities, collect your baggage and Lotus India Holidays representative will meet you with a placard. Transfer to hotel and check in. Overnight.

  Full day city tour of Delhi, tour starts with Old Delhi drive past of Red Fort. Visit the Jama Masjid - the largest mosque in India. Later take a Rickshaw ride through the narrow lanes of Chandni Chowk . Afternoon visit New Delhi, which will include photo stop at- Parliament House, India Gate and Rashtrapati Bhavan. Visit Humayun’s Tomb, one of the best examples of a Mughal Garden Tomb. Later visit Qutub Minar, the tallest brick minaret. Overnight.

• Day 3 : Delhi – Agra

  Travel to Agra, home to India's most famous landmark, the Taj Mahal. On arrival check in at hotel. Later visit to Agra Fort, built by Emperor Akbar, which is a mixture of the Islamic and Hindu styles of architecture. Also visit Itmad-ud-Daula Tomb; nicknamed as baby Taj. Overnight.

• Day 4 : Agra – Ranthambore

  Early morning visit to Taj Mahal (Closed on Friday). Later travel to Ranthambore. En-route visit Fatehpur Sikri, built by Mughal Emperor Akbar to honor the Saint Salim Chisti. On arrival check in at hotel. Overnight.

  This morning travel to Udaipur, also known as the City Of Lakes, the Venice of the East or the Kashmir of Rajasthan. Enroute visit the mighty Chittorgarh Fort, which is believed to have been built by the Maurya rules in 7th century AD. The fort offers and insight into the life of the Great Rajput rulers. On arrival check in at hotel. Overnight

  Morning visit City Palace & its complex. Later visit Jagdish Temple, an exquisite example of Indo Aryan architecture. Visit the Bhartiya Lok Kala Mandir, an Indian folk arts museum. Conclude your day enjoying a boat ride on Lake Pichola, created in the year 1362 AD, named after the nearby Picholi village. Overnight.

• Day 10 : Udaipur – Narlai

  This morning travel to Narlai, en-route visit to the Kumbhalgarh Fort, one of the most impressive fortresses in the ancient kingdom of Mewar. Later visit Ranakpur Jain temples, with intricately carved marble pillars and domes. Later continue to Narlai, a 15th century village making a picturesque base for exploring the true India. On arrival check in at hotel. Evening proceed for a village walk. Overnight.

• Day 11 : Narlai – Jodhpur

  This morning travel to Jodhpur, enroute experience Rural Train Ride from Phulad to Khamblighat by a local train across the Aravalli range is a pleasant experience. The train traverses the hills in one gradual giant right turn switchback. Your car would be waiting at the station. Continue to Jodhpur, the ancient desert city built on the edge of the Thar Desert. On arrival check-in at hotel. Overnight.

  Morning visit Mehrangarh Fort; one of the largest forts in India. Visit the Jaswant Thada and proceed to visit Old city & Clock tower; a prominent landmark. Later proceed to Bishnoi Village, to meet and interact with the Bishnoi villagers, understand their way of life and also take part in local customs and activities of the area. They also have a unique ceremony, called the opium ceremony. You are most welcome to participate in this. In the evening get yourself painted with Henna. Overnight.

• Day 13 : Jodhpur – Jaisalmer

  Morning travel to Jaisalmer, enroute visit Osian’s Golden Jain Temple. Also visit the site of Khichan Migratory birds. Later continue to Jaisalmer. On arrival check in at hotel. Later visit the cenotops to witness the sunset. Overnight.

  Morning visit the only living fort in the world, Jaisalmer Fort. Take a stroll in the narrow streets of the Golden city and get a glimpse of the life style of the locals. Visit the Jain Temple followed by visit to the beautifully carved Nathmalji Ki Haveli. Return to the hotel for rest. Later afternoon transfer to Sam tents (50 Kms / 1 hour). Proceed for a camel ride on its exotic sand dunes, offering an unforgettable experience of rich cultural heritage. Also witness folk dance as your dinner is served. Overnight

• Day 15 : Sam Tents – Bikaner

  Morning travel to Bikaner. On arrival check in at hotel. Later city tour visiting Junagarh Fort, made of red and pink sandstone. Ride Tonga waiting for you, in fact, the most feasible and reasonable mode of transport and a veritable source of fun. Wade through the narrow alleys of Old Bikaner City, passing through bangle, spice, vegetable market, and ‘Tea Street’, visiting Jain Bhandeshwar Temple. Also visit Camel Breeding Farm, to get taste the products made from the highly sweet camel milk like Ice cream, tea and coffee prepared from the Camel milk, a rarity itself. Overnight.

• Day 16 : Bikaner – Mandawa

  Travel to Mandawa, enroute visit Deshnoke, The city's Karni Mata temple. An hour before Mandawa visit Fatehpur, its is quiet famous for its beautiful Havelis. Mandawa, a small but delightful town in Shekhawati region of Rajasthan. On arrival check in at hotel. Later sightseeing visiting Mandawa Fort; its archway has beautiful painting which shows Lord Krishna among his cowherds and the rooms are architecturally adorned with mirror work. Overnight.

  This morning after breakfast take a full day Excursion to Nawalgarh and Dundlod, visiting Nawalgarh fort, Sheesh Mahal & Dundlod fort.
