Day wise Itinerary

• Day 1 : Arrive At Leh

  Arrival Leh in the morning and transfer to the hotel. Full day of rest for acclimatization to the high altitude of Leh (11,500 ft / 3500 mtrs). Overnight in hotel.
• Day 2 : Leh Sightseeing

  After breakfast visit Shey Palace, Sindhu Ghats & Thiksey Monastery. Post lunch proceed for sightseeing of Hall of Fame (museum of Military heritage & local culture), Kali Mata (Temple of Guardians in Spituk monastery), Gurudwara Pathar Sahib, Magnetic Point and Sangam (confluence of Indus & Zanskar rivers). Overnight in hotel.
• Day 3 : Leh Pangong

  Early departure for Pangong Lake (approx. 150 kms), via Chang-la pass (alt: 17370 ft./ 5486 meters)-3rd highest motorable pass in the world. Pangong Lake (alt: 14,500 ft.) is 4-5 kms wide and about 140 kms long, of which about two-third lies on the other side of the Indo-China border. After sightseeing around the lake, drive back to Leh, reaching in the evening. Overnight at the hotel.

• Day 4 : Nubra Valley

  After breakfast leave for Nubra Valley, driving across Khardong-la (alt: 18,380 ft), world’s highest motorable road. After descending from the pass, drive on to Hunder / Deskit (headquarters of Nubra Valley) and check in at a fixed camp or hotel. Rest of the day at leisure to explore the area at your own pace. Overnight in fixed camp at Hunder or hotel at Deskit

  • Themes Hill Stations & Valleys
• Day 5 : Nubra Valley - Leh

  In the morning explore Deskit , Hundar and the Sand Dunes where you can enjoy a short camel safari using the double-humped Bactrian camel found here (optional). Thereafter return to Leh to reach in the late afternoon, enroute visiting the dramatically located 15th century Deskit monastery. Overnight at the hotel.
• Day 6 : Depart Leh

  Early morning transfer to the airport for taking the flight back home.
