Day 1 : Delhi - Nainital (300 kms/ 8hrs)
Arrival Delhi Railway Station/Airport, further drive to Nainital. Nainital is a glittering jewel in the Himalyan necklace, blessed with scenic natural splendor and varied natural resources . Dotted with lakes , Nainital has earned the epithet of ' Lake District ' of India .On arriving, check in to the hotel and spend evening at leisure. Later enjoy a comfortable overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 2 : Nainital
After Breakfast full day visit in Nainital. It is believed that Nainital figures in some ancient myths of India. In the Manas Khand of the Skand Puranas, Nainital Lake is called Tri-Rishi-Sarovar, hinting at the story of three sages, Atri, Pulastya and Pulaha, who, upon finding no water in Nainital, dug a large hole at the location of the present day lake and filled it with water from the holy lake Mansarovar in Tibet.
Naini Lake - Is one of the 52 Shakti Peeths, or religious sites where parts of the charred body of Sati (Parvati) fell on earth while being carried by Lord Shiva. The spot where Sati's eyes fell, came to be called Nain-tal or lake of the eye. The goddess Shakti is worshipped at the Naina Devi Temple on the north shore of the present day lake.
Day 3 : Nainital
After breakfast You can choose to explore the Mall road and local sightseeing, the thandi sadak and/or shop in the famous Bhutia market and sightseeing Later, stay overnight at the hotel.
Saat Tal – Saat tal means seven lakes, it is a cluster of small interconnected lakes in the midst of an old oak forest.
Bhimtal Lake - Bhimtal Lake is the biggest lake of Nainital. It is named after the second Pandava brother Bhima in the Mahabharata who was known for his prodigious strength. The lake, which is larger than Naini Lake, is approximately 22 km from Nainital at an altitude of 1,370 m. There is an island in the lake with a popular restaurant on it. There is also a 17th-century temple complex, the Bhimeshwar, alongside a 40 ft high dam at one end of the lake.
Naukuchia Tal - Nine-Cornered Lake, is 26 km from Nainital and 4 km from Bhimtal at an altitude of 1,220 m. The lake is almost 1 km long, 0.5 km wide and approximately 40 m deep. It is the deepest of the lakes in the greater Nainital area. According to legend, if one takes in all nine corners in one glimpse, one can disappear in a cloud of smoke.
Day 4 : Nainital - Corbett (70Km/ 2hrs
After breakfast, depart for the Jim Corbett National Park. , it is the oldest national park in India. It is located in Nainital dist. and was named after Jim Corbett who played a key role in its establishment. On arriving relax in the serene ambiance of the resort and take your lunch. Soon after the lunch you may go Jim Corbett museum and Garjia Devi Temple. Later in the evening come back to resort and spend few pleasant hours underneath the twinkling stars where you will retire for the night after dinner.
Day 5 : Corbett
The second day of your tour is devoted to early morning open Jeep Safari. Start your day with a cup of tea/coffee and get ready for the most awaited journey. While your jeep passes through the deep jungle there is a strong probability to spot the Royal Bengal Tiger roaming around. Keep your cameras at the ready and capture the rare images of tigers and various other wildlife species while they are resting in their habitats. Corbett is one of the most popular national park in India. It houses Vast Flora and Fauna around 110 tree species, 50 species of mammals, 580 bird species and 25 reptile species. This fact offers visitors an excellent chance of witnessing thrilling confrontations between tiger and other animals. Come back to resort and take breakfast. You may enjoy bath in swimming pool. Later in the evening, move towards Kosi River and spend few pleasant hours at the bank of the river. Come back to the resort and get caught up in the spirit of the magical place and have your dinner, overnight stay at resort.
Day 6 : Corbett - Delhi
After Breakfast departure for Delhi, drop at station/Airport for onward journey. Tour terminates…..
