Day wise Itinerary

• Day 1 : Arrive in Delhi - Drive from Delhi to Nainital (283 km/approx. 7 hours)

  oon after arrival in Delhi, board the designated vehicle and proceed towards the enchanting hill station of Nainital and en route, have lunch. Situated at a height of about 2,984 metres above sea level, this hill station is admired for its scenic landscapes. Blessed with an emerald green lake, it is also referred to as the Lake District of Uttarakhand. Other than this lake, some other worth visiting places at this destination include Snow View Point, Tiffin Top, Mall Road and Naina Devi Temple.
  
  Upon arrival in Nainital, check-in at the hotel and rest for sometime. If interested, you can take a boat ride in the beautiful Naini Lake (optional – on won expense).
  
  Enjoy dinner and overnight stay at the hotel.

• Day 2 : Sightseeing in Nainital

  After a delicious breakfast, visit the beautiful Bhimtal Lake, situated at an elevation of 1,370 metres above sea level. An island in the centre of this lake adds to its beauty and is the major centre of attraction. Later, proceed towards Sattal, which is a group of seven freshwater lakes. With dense pine and oak forests in the backdrop, these lakes are the haven of peace and tranquillity. Thereafter, leave for Naukuchiatal, which is known as the 'Lake of Five Corners'. Deepest of all the lakes in the Nainital region, this lake is situated at an elevation of 1220 metres above sea level.
  
  After exploring all these lakes, return to the hotel and relish a sumptuous lunch. Later, leave the hotel to enjoy a boat ride in Naini Lake and rope way (optional – on own expense). In the evening, stroll along the Mall Road while shopping and trying out local delicacies.
  
  Return to the hotel for dinner and overnight stay at the hotel.

• Day 3 : Drive from Nainital to Jim Corbett National Park (72 km/approx. 2 hours)

  Soon after breakfast, check-out from the hotel and embark on a journey from Nainital to Jim Corbett National Park.
  
  While on the way, you can visit the sparkling Corbett Waterfalls. Admire the crystal clear water cascading from the mountain ridge. Situated at a height of 60 feet above sea level, it is an ideal place for camping. The lush greenery surrounding this place adds to its beauty.
  
  On arrival at Jim Corbett National Park, check-in at the hotel and unpack. You can spend the whole day resting at the hotel room or going out for a nature walk.

• Day 4 : Safari in Jim Corbett National Park

  Early in the morning, board the Jeep waiting for you outside the hotel and proceed for a safari in Jim Corbett National Park.
  
  Located in the Nainital and Pauri Garhwal district of Uttarakhand, this park was established in the year 1936 as Hailey National Park. Later, in the year 1957 it was renamed as Jim Corbett National Park after the name of an eminent naturalist – Jim Corbett. Approximately 73% of this park is covered with dense deciduous forest, which include pipal, sal, rohini and mango trees. Along with Sonanadi Wildlife Sanctuary and Reserve Forest areas, this park forms the world's largest Tiger Reserve, spread across an area of 1288 sq km. This park, mainly famous for its large population of tigers, is a natural habitat of more than 50 species of mammals, 25 reptile species and 580 bird species.
  
  After safari, return to the hotel and savour a delicious breakfast. Spend the day at leisure and enjoy the serenity of the region.
  
  Have dinner and stay overnight at the hotel.

• Day 5 : Drive from Corbett to Delhi (272 km/approx. 7 hours) | Depart from Delhi

  In the morning, enjoy your breakfast and check-out from the hotel. Drive towards Delhi from where you can continue your onward journey.
