Day wise Itinerary

• Day 1 : Nature & Culture - Omo Valley Tour

  Arrive Addis Ababa Airport, transfer to hotel to get some rest,
  Sightseeing the capital city of Ethiopia – Addis Ababa, includes the largest open grand market in Africa and National Museum (home of the fossilized skeleton of the early hominid Lucy) and SHIRO MEDA NATIONAL CLOTH SHOPPING CENTER then drive to MT. ENTOTO to visit St. Mary church.

• Day 2 : Nature & Culture - Omo Valley Tour

  Drive to Langano, on your way visit Abiyata, Shala, the rift valley lakes for its nature and bird life at same time to stretch your legs on this drive.
  Visit Lake Langano, one of the rift valley lakes, you can swim or relax around the beach; Lake Langano is the safe lake to swim with many birds life to spot.

  After breakfast, drive to Wolaita, the Dorze (Chencha) villages to visit especially the 12 mts high bamboo tukul and their way of making Shema’ white dresses and more other colorful thread dresses.

  At Arbaminch visit Nechsar Park where you mainly see zebras and the endemic Swayenes heart-beast and return for a boat trip on lake Chamo to visit Hippos, birds and Crocodiles.

  Leave Arbaminch to Turmi, enjoy the omo valley visit en route the konso people who depends on terracing farming for their living unlike the other tribes that are pastoralists in the omo valley , Turmi is colorful on Monday Market so you will have an opportunity to see many tribes on this market En route visit villages like: Tsemay around Weito River, the erbore tribes.
  After dinner visit one of the villages for Evangadi ritual dance of the Hammer people.**(optional)

• Day 6 : Nature & Culture - Omo Valley Tour

  Morning drive to Omorate to visit the Dasenech people (their old name is Geleb) who are living on the banks of river Omo, Cross the river using a tree trunk to go to the west coast where the majority of the tribe live and trek around their village. The daily market at omorate is also an interesting place to stop for a photo.

  Drive to Karo people village that live by the shore of river omo, Karo wear an elaborate hairstyle sculpted in Chignon of dried mud adorned with Ostrich feathers. They always carry a wooden pillow to protect their hairstyle when they sleep and then proceed to Jinka and visit the local market, village and museum overnight will be in Jinka.

  Drive to Mago Park early morning seeing some wild life and visit the mursi people known for their lip plates. Return to jinka and head to Benna Keyafer Thirsday market and then continue to Konso for overnight.

  Drive to Awassa via Hageremariam.

  Visit in the morning the open fish market of the Sidamo people at Awassa Lake and drive back to Addis via the north rift valley lakes.
  Visiting en route Debrezeit & ziway for its Lakes with Bird life like flamingos, pelicans, Ibis and more others. This is a scenic route with geological, historical and natural history attractions. Evening you will have a farewell dinner party in Ethiopian cultural restaurant with Ethiopian live music.
