Day wise Itinerary

• Day 1 : Upon arrival in Addis Ababa

  Upon arrival in Addis Ababa, you will be met upon arrival and transferred to your hotel Half-day city tour of Addis, if arrival is in the morning.
  P.M: Half day city tour of Addis, which includes trinity cathedral, national museum and Mercato the great open market.

• Day 2 : Drive to the rift valley

  Drive to the rift valley system where your first overnight out of Addis Ababa will be by the hotel at Lake Langano , visit en route Debrezeit & ziway for its Lakes with Bird life like flamingos, pelicans, Ibis and more others. This is a scenic route with geological, historical and natural history attractions.

  • Meals & Drinks : Breakfast Lunch Dinner

• Day 3 : Drive to Arba minch

  Drive to Arba minch. En route stop to see the wolaita tribes and beautiful huts and the Dorze villages especially the 12 mts heights bamboo Tukul and their way of making Shema’ white dresses and more other colorful thread dresses.

• Day 4 : At Arba minch

  At Arba minch hike to Nechsar national park to see some antelopes and in the afternoon boat trip on Lake Chamo to see hippos and Nile crocodiles.

• Day 5 : Drive to konso people

  Drive to konso people who depends on terracing farming for their living unlike the other tribes that are pastoralists in the omo valley
  Konso is known for 'Totems' a grave mark and terracing farms,

• Day 6 : Drive 90 km road to Yabello

  Drive 90 km road to Yabello for Borena and Dubluck
  In Yabello visit the Borena people taking their thousands of cattle’s for watering near by the singing water wells.

• Day 7 : Drive to Awassa

  Drive to Awassa, enjoying en route the coffee plantation around Yirga chefee and the natural beauty.

• Day 8 : Awassa Lake

  Visit in the morning the open fish market of the Sidamo people at Awassa Lake and drive back to Addis by en route visiting Debrezeit & ziway for its Lakes with Bird life like flamingos, pelicans, Ibis and more others. This is a scenic route with geological, historical and natural history attractions.
  Evening there will be farewell dinner party in traditional Ethiopian restaurant with live music.
