This zoo is one of the better ones in West Africa. it has a sizeable collection of native primates, including gorillas, chimps and drills, mainly rescued from poachers and the bushmeat trade. Well worth a visit, the zoo also houses a few lions, hyenas and a smattering of birds, snakes and lizards.Meet the king lion in its zoo.Take a photo with him and feed him.
Also play with baby chimps in the wild.

The Campo-Ma'an landscape covers a surface area of about 776,202 ha spread over the Ocean and Ntem Valley divisions. The landscape features a national park (264,064 ha), 2 logging concessions, an agro-industrial belt made up of rubber and palm oil plantations and community agro-forestry zones. Current inventories show that the Campo-Ma'an landscape is a miniature reflection of the rich diversity of plant and animal species of Central Africa's rainforest.

Founded in 1968, it has an area of ??170,000 hectares. It is the most famous of Cameroon and one of the most spectacular in Francophone Africa. Located in the far north, 120 km from Maroua and 135 km of Kousseri, it contains, in addition to the lion, elephants, hyenas, hartebeest, roan and, of Buffon's kob, waterbuck and reeds, gazelles, giraffes, and a large colony of birds: geese, egrets, ostriches, herons, pelicans, jabirus, ibis, etc.
