Day wise Itinerary

  • Day 1 : Arrive in Kathmandu (1,300m /4,264 Ft)

    When you arrive at Tribhuvan International Airport (TIA), Kathmandu. As you reach at arrival gate after completing your immigration representative will welcome you in traditional way at the arrival gate. You will be taken to the exact hotel as you plan. You can meet trekking crew at Actual Adventure head office after check in your hotel or you can visit Kathmandu valley. At evening, you can enjoy a good traditional welcome Dinner (D) in a traditional restaurant, organized by Actual Adventure. As this will your first day in Nepal, We will never miss the opportunity to make you enjoyed and make you feel good.

  • Day 2 : Fly to Pokhara

    Early this morning we will fly to Pokhara and we will continue by road to our trek start point at Naya Pool within 1.5 hours. We will move through the stream paddy field, cultivated fields, alder and Mimosa’s forest to reach Tirkhedunga. Throughout the trek we will be following the Burungdi Khola and we should blemish some of fine river birds of Nepal as well; white capped River Chats, Plumbous Redstars, Dippers and Kingfishers. The Annapurnas and Machhapuchre, the scared ‘Fishtail’ mountain are our will be our companion.

  • Day 3 : Reach to Ghorepani

    Today we start our journey by crossing the Burungdi Khola and climb all day to Ghorepani. We will step up a series of stone past gorgeous terraced hillsides to the village of Ulleri. The traces continue climbing and enter to a fascinating forest. The superior rhododendron forest is one of the high point of our walk which is full of birds. We can hope to find Rosefinches, Laughing Thrush, Woodpecker, Babblers and Warblers; also Common Langur Monkeys and the very rare Red Panda or Muntjac may be seen. We can ultimately reach at Ghorepani. Then we can enjoy the sensational sun sets views of the Mt. Annapurna.

  • Day 4 : Trek to Tadapani

    Best seen at morning, its most important the effort of ascends so there is a possible ascent of Poon Hill about an hour's walk above Ghorepani to enjoy the stunning sunrise over the Dhaulagiri and Annapurna Himals this morning. After breakfast, we will follow a forested ridge to cross a pass at 3,193m to east. The track then move down through dark forests of fir, spruce, oak and rhododendron homed many birds and a few mammals. Moving during Banthanti at 2,620m, we will hike back to 2,745m, where we reach another small pass at Tadapani. Then we have a superb view of Annapurna South and the peak of Machhapuchhare.

  • Day 5 : Move to Ghandrug

    Today will be our easier walk through fantastic isolated forest with enormous mountain views. We can notice out for monkeys and elevated forest birds including Tragopan, Juniper Finch and Rosefinches. We will come into sight from the forest just above Ghandrung, the largest Gurung village in the area. This area is mostly populated by continuation farmers who tend the suspiciously arranged out terraces. There are still older traditional houses with their neat schedule roofs in Ghandrung. In the afternoon you will be taken to village walk and in the evening we can calm down in the teahouse and observe the sunset on Annapurna South.

  • Day 6 : Back to Pokhara

    This morning we will move down on a stone stairs towards the Modi Khola. Moving through Shyauli Bazaar, we will reach to the attractive village of Birethanthi, where we can have lunch overlooking the river. After few minutes’ walk brings us to Naya Pool, There we will meet the road and drive back to Pokhara. We can explore this pretty lakeside resort in free time at afternoon.

  • Day 7 : Jungle Safari Around Chitwan National Park

    Today we will to Chitwan, where we can pass our next four nights. Chitwan is, known as the 'Terai' in the lowlands of Nepal. Today we will step towards the park covers 932 sq. KMs of Saal and riverine forest and grassland. It is a magnificent and unexplored tropical forest situated with a larger diversity of wildlife. The recorded bird species are 543 as well as 43 species of mammals and reptiles including Indian Rhinocerous, Gharial Crocodile, Sambar, Mutjac Deer, Rhesus and Hanuman Monkeys are also found. There are Tigers, Sloth Bears and Leopards in the park but these are rarely observed. We will be stayed at a simple cottage and will make tour into the forest on foot and on elephant back during our stay. We also make trips along the Rapti River in a ditch canoe, searching crocodile and survey the plentiful bird life. The safari lodge has well-informed and helpful staffs, who attend us on all the tours.

    Today we will move east-west highway along to Koshi Tappu Wildlife Reserve viewing lots of bird’s life. Koshi Tappu is situated close to the Indian boarder, the far eastern part of Nepal in the Sapta Koshi River plain. The reserve expands in 175 kilometers to the North of the barrage which spans the Koshi River. The barrage was built to control and avoid the flooding of Northern India. Barrage create a huge open area of water and Lagoons and marshland that lie around it have created a incredible wetland habitat and one of the best bird watching sites in Asia. A great diversity of land birds can found here, especially birds of prey and warbles, Waders, storks, ibises, egrets, gulls and terns can be seen. At 14 kilometers north of the barrage there is a heart of the reserve, where we can enjoy the view of forest, grassland and marshes. This area is only sanctuary of the Wild Water Buffalo in Nepal. Other mammals such as Leopard, Jungle Cat, Spotted Deer, Nilgai (Blue Bull) and the endangered Ganges River Dolphin may see. We can walk whole day around the reserve.

  • Day 14 : Drive to Biratnagar to Fly Kathmandu

    Today we will drive to Biratnagar to fly Kathmandu. On the day to the north, we will be able to see the snow capped Himalaya. You will spend your last night in Kathmandu remembering all the sweet memories of our tour.

  • Day 15 : Departure from Kathmandu

    After Buffet Breakfast, you will be free Till Departure. Then you will be transferred to Kathmandu Airport. We will always hope to see you again with your family, relative, co-workers and friends.
