Day wise Itinerary

• Day 1 : NJP /IXB Airport-Jaldapara (140kms / 4hrs)

  Meet & Greet on arrival at Njp / IXB & transfer to Jaldapara National Park. Check-in to hotel/Tourist Bunglow and a say free for leisure. Jaldapara Wildlife Sanctuary is a protected park situated at the foothills of Eastern Himalayas in Sub-Division of Jaldapara District in West Bengal and on the bank of river Torsa. Jaldapara , the vast grassland with patches of riverine forests was declared a sanctuary in 1941 for protection of the great variety flora and fauna, particularly the one horned rhino. The main attraction of the sanctuary holds the maximum number of rhinos population in India after Kaziranga National Park in Assam. The other animal consists of Royal Tigers, elephants, deers, sambhar, etc. Jaldapara ia a paradise for bird watches. It is one of the very few places in India, where the Bengal Florican is sighted.
• Day 2 : Jaldapara- Gurumara National Park (90kms/2.5hrs)

  Early morning , the day begins with an Elephant ride in Jaldapara Park. Ride through the high grasses and deep forest to see the majestic animals. Back to hotel, get refreshed and breakfast. Same day transfer to Lataguri, check-in to Resort and a day free for leisure. Tea garden takes you deep inside the National Park located on the flood plains of Murti and Jaldhaka rivers. The Gorumara National Park has a large variety of Flora and Fauna. In view of its great diversity of plants and animals it was declared as a National Park in 1994 comprising a total area of 80sq.km.
• Day 3 : Gurumara Jungle Safari

  After breakfast or lunch. We will drive to take you for jungle safari by jeep, into the Gurumara National Park. Back to resort. Overnight stay at Gurumara.
• Day 4 : Gurumara-Lolaygoan via Gorubathan (120kms/4hrs)

  After breakfast leave for Lolaygaon.Allocation of rooms at respective hotels / Resort. Rest of day at leisure & rest. Overnight stay. One of the least trodden hamlets in the hidden Kalimpong hill Lolaygoan is a stunning offbeat tourist destination. Lolegoan is the best bet. Nestled atop of a flat hill on a forested ridge at an altitude of 5500ft. Lolaygoan is a place of ethereal wilderness and tranquility, basically a small lepcha village also known as Kafer. Viewing sunrise over the snow peaks from Jhandidara-a wooded hilltop, is perhaps the most treasuredmemory of being at Loleygoan. In a clear day all major peaks of Kanchenjunga massif can be seen from Jhandidara. Even the glorious Mt Everest can be seem from Jhandi Dara (Jhandi=Flag,Dara=Top)as your eyes sweep across the layers of mountain and valets and reach at the distant corner, where the highest peak in the world is touched by the first rays.
• Day 5 : Loleygoan-Kalimpong (30kms/1.5hrs)

  Early morning drive to Jhandidara to watch the spectacular sunrise and back to hotel, after breakfast same day proceed to Kalimpong. Check in to hotel and a day ree for rest.
• Day 6 : Kalimpong Local Sightseeing

  After breakfast, a complete day of visit of Kalimpong, local sightseeing which includes Monastries, Nature Interpretation centre, Army Golf Course, St.Teresa Church, Nurseries, Deolo-view point, Durpin Dara, Science City and Hanuman Park etc. After sightseeing back to hotel. Overnight stay at Kalimpong.
• Day 7 : Kalimpong-NJP / IXB (80km/3hrs)

  After breakfast start on time, transfer to NJP railway Station? Bagdogra airport for onwards journey.
