Day wise Itinerary

• Day 1 : Guwahati to Tezpur (170Kms / 5:00 Hrs)

  On arrival at the airport, received by our representative, proceed to Tezpur, on arrival check in at hotel, evening free for leisure. Overnight stay at Tezpur.

  • Themes : Sightseeing

• Day 2 : Tezpur to Dirang (200Kms / 5:30 Hrs)

  After breakfast check out from the hotel and drive to Dirang. On the way visit Tipi Orchidarium situated on the banks of the river Bharali, a place with over 500 orchids in the country. On arrival check into Hotel. Evening free at leisure. Overnight stay at Dirang.

• Day 3 : Dirang to Tawang (130 Kms / 7:00 Hrs)

  After breakfast check out from the hotel and proceed to Tawang the Land of Hidden Paradise. On the way, enjoy the beauty of Sela Pass (13700 Ft) JaswantGarh War Memorial, Nuranang Falls. On arrival check in to the hotel. Evening is free for leisure. Overnight stay at Tawang.

• Day 4 : Tawang Local Sightseeing

  After breakfast visit Tawang Monastery world famous seventeenth century Tawang Monastery, also known as GaldenNamgyalLhatse which overlooks the wide Tawang Valley at a height of 10,000 ft. Then proceed to the War Memorial which is dedicated to the martyrs of the 1962 SinoIndian war. The memorial is 40-foot-high and like a stupa in design. It is locally called ‘Namgyal Chorten’. The names of 2420 martyrs are imprinted in gold on 32 black granite plagues. You can also visit the craft centre in Tawang sells beautiful masks,
  hand woven carpets, jewellery in silver, coral and amber, ‘chubas’ the local dress and delightful affordable mementos. Evening at leisure. Overnight stay at Tawang.

• Day 5 : Tawang – Madhuri Lake and Bumla Pass (55 Kms/3:00 Hrs)

  Today morning after early breakfast, you will drive to Madhuri Lake and to Bumla Pass which is located near Indo-China border over 15,200 ft above sea level. During return take a photo stop at the beautiful PTSO lake. (Pangong Tang Tso Lake popularly known as PT Tso which is an extremely scenic drive with bird’s eye view of the township below). Later in the afternoon drive back to the hotel. Rest of the evening at leisure. Overnight stay at Tawang.
  Note: Bumla Pass and Madhuri Lake at own cost by Local Association Vehicle.

• Day 6 : Tawang to Bomdila (170 Kms / 8:00 Hrs)

  After breakfast transfer to Bomdila (8,200 ft.) - the head quarter of West Kameng District of Arunachal Pradesh and also known for its Buddhist monasteries. On arrival check in to the
  hotel. Evening free for leisure. Overnight stay at Bomdila.

• Day 7 : Bomdila to Kaziranga (210 Kms / 5:00 Hrs)

  After breakfast check out of the hotel and transfer to Kaziranga National Park – the home of world famous one horned rhinos. Kaziranga National Park is also a UNESCO Natural World Heritage Site. On arrival check in at the hotel/resort. Evening free for leisure. Overnight stay at Kaziranga.

• Day 8 : Kaziranga Local Sightseeing

  Early morning explore any one zone of Kaziranga National Park on the back of Elephant Safari. Apart from the Rhino, other species found are Hog Deer, Swamp Deer, Wild Buffalo, Elephants and if you are lucky then tiger also. It is also home to pelicans, storks and darters as there are a number of water bodies inside the Park. Return to the resort for breakfast. In the afternoon go for another adventurous Jeep Safari in another range of the park. Return to the Hotel/Resort for leisure time in the evening. Overnight stay at Kaziranga.

• Day 9 : Kaziranga to Shillong (296 Kms / 7:00 Hrs)

  After breakfast proceed to Shillong (4,900 ft.), called ‘Scotland of the East”. Enroute visit Umiam Lake, a majestic placid lake with its surrounding sylvan hills. On arrival at Shillong,
  check in at your hotel. Evening is free for leisure. Overnight stay at Shillong.

• Day 10 : Shillong to Cherrapunjee (60 Kms / 2:00 Hrs)

  Get up early in the morning to enjoy the mesmerising mornings of Shillong. On arrival at Cherrapunjee visit Duwan Sing Syiem View Point, Nohkalikai Falls, Seven Sister Falls, Eco Park, Arwah Cave, Mawsmai Cave. On return to Shillong visit Elephanta Waterfalls. Overnight stay at Shillong Hotel.

• Day 11 : Shillong to Mawlynnong (80Kms/3 Hrs)

  After breakfast visit Mawlynnong Village - the cleanest village in India. This cute and colorful The little village is known for its cleanliness. It is situated 90 kms. from Shillong and besides the picturesque village offers many interesting sights such as the Living Root Bridge and another strange natural phenomenon of a boulder balancing on another rock. Visit Dawki, It is along the Indo-Bangladesh border. You can enjoy boating in the crystal clear waters of the Umngot River. Evening return to Shillong. Overnight stay in a Hotel at Shillong.

• Day 12 : Shillong to Guwahati (110 Kms/3:00 Hrs)

  After breakfast, enjoy half day sightseeing in Shillong. Includes Lady Hydra Park, Air Force Museum, Don Bosco Musuem, Ward’s Lake. After lunch drive back to Guwahati. On arrival
  check in at Shillong. Evening free at leisure. Overnight at Guwahati.

• Day 13 : Guwahati Depart

  Early morning visit Maa Kamkhya Temple for darshan, then return to the hotel for breakfast. After breakfast check out of the hotel and drive towards the airport for onward journey.
