Day wise Itinerary

• Day 1 : Pickup From Guwahati and Transfer To Shillong

  Pickup From Guwahati. Drive To Shillong (3 Hours), visit Umium Lake en route. Visit Shillong Peak. Check in at Hotel at Shillong Night stay at Hotel.

• Day 2 : Shillong - Cherrapunji - Shillong

  Early breakfast then move to Cherrapunji (56 km, 2 hours). En route visit Elephant falls. Attractions at Cherrapunji: Nohkalokai falls, Khasi Monoliths, Mawsmai falls, Mawsmai caving adventures etc. Lunch en route. Back journey to Shillong and visit Cathedral of Mary Help of Christians (Church), Bara Bazar, Police Bazar, Lake, Gardens etc. Night stay at Shillong.

• Day 3 : Shillong To Mawlynnong (3 hours)

  Breakfast and move to Mawlynnong (3 hours). A village almost on the Bangladesh Border). Lunch. Visit famous 200 years old living root bridges, Sky view point, Falls etc. Night stay at Mawlynnong Eco-Lodge.

  • Meals & Drinks : Breakfast

• Day 4 : Mawlynnong To Kaziranga National Park (7 hours)

  Breakfast and move to Kaziranga National Park (7 hours). Lunch en route. Evening is free. Local folk dance can be arrange on request. Night stay at Kaziranga.

• Day 5 : Elephant And Jeep Safai

  Early morning elephant safari. Breakfast. Visit nearby tea gardens, in and around Kaziranga National Park. Lunch. Then go for Jeep safari (2 hours) inside the national park. Evening is free. Night stay at Kaziranga.

• Day 6 : Kaziranga National Park To Guwahati

  Breakfast and move to Guwahati (225 km, 5 hours). Lunch en route. Evening visit Balaji Temple, Srimanta Sankardev Kalakshetra. Check in at Hotel in Guwahati. Overnight at Hotel.

  • Meals & Drinks : Breakfast

• Day 7 : Guwahati Sight Seeing

  Visit Kamakhya Temple. Breakfast and then local city sight seeing tour in Guwahati and around. Visit Hajo (30 km, shrines of three different faiths i.e. Hindu, Muslim and Buddhists, co-existing peacefully down the ages). Lunch. Cruise to Umananda Temple. (Also Golden Langur sighting). Evening visit Local handicraft outlet. Then go for Brahmaputra cruise. Night stay at Hotel

• Day 8 : Botanical Garden - Departure

  Breakfast. Visit State Zoo and Botanical Garden and then Transfer to Airport or Railway station.
