Visit :-
a) Manipur State Museum - The museum has a fairly good display of Manipur's tribal heritage and a collection of portraits and items such as costumes, arms and weapons of Manipur's former rulers.
b) War Cemetery - The British and the Indian army cemeteries commemorating those who died in the 2nd World War are serene and well maintained with little stone markers and bronze plaques recording their anguish and sacrifice.
c) Saheed Minar - This Minar at Bir Tikandrajit Park in the heart of the capital commemorates the indomitable spirit of Manipur martyrs who sacrificed their lives while fighting against the British in the year 1891.
a) Shri Govindajee temple, adjoining the palace of the former rulers of Manipur, is a historical centre for Vaisnavites. It is a simple and beautiful structure with twin gold domes and a paved court.
b) Visit IMA Market, a unique all women's market in the heart of the town. Later enjoy a tour in and around the city.
After breakfast proceed for the excursion to Ukhrul which is 83 kms East of Imphal, is a district head quarter of Manipur East. A centre of the colourful warrior tribe Tangkhul Nagas. In the evening, visit the town.
In the morning, drive to Shiroi, famous for a peculiar type of land lily, called the Siroi, grown on the Shiroi Hills. In the afternoon, visit Shiroi hills and Khangkhui lime caves.
Later check into the hotel.
In the morning, drive down to Sanshak, which is 28 kms away from Ukhrul. Sanshak was the last point where the Japanese forces had arrived during the 2nd World War. Sanshak is a very large Tangkhul Village with more than 500 houses. One can get a microscopic view on their traditional life and architecture. Also visit the Tangkhul villages.
Return to the hotel.
In the morning drive to Jessami, which was also occupied by the Japanese forces during the 2nd World War. The Tangkhuls of Jessami differ slightly in dialect and customs from the Sanshak area.
In the morning ,depart for Imphal. Reach and check in to the hotel. In the afternoon, visit Langthabal, 8 kms down the Indo-Myanmar road lies this small hill with relics of an old, historical palace, temples of architectural importance and ceremonial houses.
In the morning , depart for Moirang, which is 45 kms away. It was here that the flag of the Indian National Army was first unfurled on April 14th,1944.
a) Visit the INA Museum containing letters, photographs, badges of ranks and other memorabilia and noble sacrifices made by the INA under the leadership of Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose. Visit one of the main centres of early Meitei folk culture with ancient temple of pre-Hindu deity Lord Thangjing situated here.
b) Visit Loktak lake and Sendra Island which is the largest fresh water lake in the North East region.
c) Visit Keibul Lamjao National Park which is the only floating National Park in the world on the Loktak Lake is the last natural habitat of "Sangai" the dancing deer of Manipur.
Return to Imphal in the evening.
In time transfer to Airport for onward journey.
