Day wise Itinerary

• Day 1 : Guwahati

  Arrive at Lokapriya Gopinath Bordoloi (LGB) Airport at Guwahat or Poltan Bazaar rail station at Guwahati.
  After refresh you can visit the following:
  Balaji temple.
  Kalakhetra- North East cultural museum.
  River cruise on Mighty Brahmaputra.
  Evening can shopping at local market.
  Overnight stay at hotel.
• Day 2 : Guwahati-local Sight Seeing

  Early morning can go for visit World Famous Maa Kamakhaya Temple.
  After that come back to hotel for breakfast.
  After that you can do the following local sight seeing:
  Assam State zoo.
  Basista temple.
  Assam state Museum.
  Umananda temple, which called also peacock island.
  Overnight stay at hotel.

• Day 3 : Guwahati-Cherrapunji–Shillong (180 km/4hrs)

  After breakfast check out from hotel & directly proceed to Shillong, it is also called 'Scotland of the East' (about 110 km 4 hours drive approx). On the way to Shillong there are lots of natural beauty and stop at Barapani Lake.
  Cherrapunji is the wettest place in the world. There are lots of spectacular view points on the way to Cherrapunjee.
  The Cherrapunji is a land of wonderful waterfalls and beautiful valleys.
  Some of the Main Attractions are the Ramakrishna Mission Museum, First Presbyterian Church, Mawsmai Fall, Nohkalikai Falls, and Eco Park etc.
  Mawsmai cave near Cherrapunji are an experience in itself, the limestone caves are well lit up. But if you want to thrill yourself more, climb up to the caves which are not lit up, they are guaranteed to spook you as one has to crawl their way in.
  Evening return to Shillong for overnight.

• Day 4 : Shillong - Mawlynnong

  After breakfast proceed to visit the cleanest village in India. It is situated 90 Km. From Shillong and besides the picturesque village, offers many interesting sights such as the living Root Bridge and another strange natural phenomenon of a boulder balancing on another rock. It is along the Indo-Bangladesh border. This cute and colorful little village is known for its cleanliness.
  Evening return to Shillong for overnight.
• Day 5 : Shillong - Local sight seeing

  After breakfast today you can visit the following:
  Cethadrel Church: The Cathedral Church of Mary Help of Christians is the principal place of worship of the over 3, 00,000 strong Catholics of the Shillong Archdiocese which covers the Khasi & Jaiñtia Hills in Meghalaya.
  Ward's Lake where you can enjoy boating
  Elephanta falls: The Elephant Falls located just outside the Shillong city at a distance of approx 10 kms provides a unique sight wherein the water column carves out its way and surrenders to gravity at two successive locations.
  Lady Hydri Park: Lady Hydari Park, owes its existence to the erstwhile nature loving first lady of the state, Lady Hydari the wife of Governor of Assam (It used to be a big state).
  Shillong Peak: The Shillong peak stands at a whopping 2000mtr above sea level. The peak dedicated to the city is also the highest point in the state.
  Overnight stay at hotel.

• Day 6 : Shillong - Onwards Journey

  After breakfast check out from hotel & depart to Guwahati airport or rail station.
  With everlasting memories start journey for onward.
