North east of India is also sharing borders with Myanmar, Bhutan, Tibet, and Bangladesh. It is popularly known for it’s natural beauty, tribal cultures, climates, landscapes and peoples. Those who are planning to cover the north-east, summer months ( April to June) are the ideal time to travel, the weather is quite pleasant and not harsh in this duration. This time is also good for sightseeing and other tourist and adventurous activities, some travellers including couples prefer to visit during winter months from October to December, when the average temperature ranges between 7 and 5 degree Celsius.
From the beauty of the tourist places in North East India to the fun-filled activities, there are numerous experiences that you simply cannot afford to miss out. Day wise Itinerary

• Day 1 : Bagdogra – Darjeeling (approx 90kms / 3hrs)

  Upon arrival at Bagdogra airport, Meet & greet, and transfer to Darjeeling. In the evening one is free to explore the Hill Queen. Stay overnight at the hotel in Darjeeling.
• Day 2 : Darjeeling

  Early Morning at around 04:00am, a visit to Tiger Hill which is famous for sunrise over Mt. Kanchendzonga. On the way back, a visit to Ghoom Monastery, Batasia Loop and then back to the hotel. After breakfast, a visit to the Himalayan Mountaineering Institute, PNZ Zoological Park, Tenzing Rock, Tibetan Refuge Centre, Tea Garden (outer view) and we’ll return to the hotel for lunch. Evening is at your leisure. Stay overnight at the hotel in Darjeeling.

• Day 3 : Darjeeling – Gangtok (approx 120kms / 4-5hrs)

  In the morning we travel to Gangtok via Peshok Tea Gardens along the river Teesta. Check in to your hotel upon arrival. An overnight stay at the hotel in Gangtok.
• Day 4 : Gangtok – Tsomgo Lake Excursion

  After breakfast,we proceed for an excursion to Tsomgo Lake (12400ft) & Baba Mandir. If permits are obtained, one may visit Nathu La followed by a drive back to the hotel where we’ll we living for the night in Gangtok.
• Day 5 : Gangtok

  The next morning after breakfast, we proceed for local sightseeing of Gangtok, covering Ganesh tok, Honuman tok, Do-Drul Chorten, Institute of Tibetology, Flower show and the cottage industry. One can relax in the evening and stay overnight at the hotel in Gangtok.

• Day 6 : Gangtok – Lachung (approx 130kms / 5-6hrs)

  Post breakfast, we check out from the hotel and proceed to Lachung (8800ft). Enroute visit Singhik View Point, Seven Sisters Waterfalls, Naga Waterfalls etc. We stop on the way for lunch. We reach Lachung by evening where we stay overnight at the hotel in Lachung.
• Day 7 : Lachung – Yumthang Excursion – Gangtok

  Early Morning, we’ll visit Yumthang Valley. Yumthang is the summer grazing ground of the yaks & winter playgrounds of yetis. On the way back, we’ll visit the Hot Springs and then return back to the resort for lunch. After lunch, we’ll drive to Gangtok and check in at the hotel upon arrival where we’ll be staying overnight in Gangtok.

  • Themes Hill Stations & Valleys
• Day 8 : Gangtok – Pelling (approx 125kms / 5hrs)

  The following morning after breakfast, we check out from the hotel and proceed to Pelling. One can enjoy the spectacular Eastern Himalayan Range from Pelling. Later, we check in at the hotel upon arrival. One can spend their evening leisurely while staying overnight at the hotel in Pelling.
• Day 9 : Pelling

  After breakfast, we’ll leave for sightseeing to places like Pemayangtse Monastery, Rimbi Falls, Kanchendzonga falls & Khecheopalri Lake. Stay overnight at the hotel in Pelling.

• Day 10 : Departure

  Early morning, we’ll check out from the hotel and transfer to Bagdogra Airport (Approx 145kms / 5hrs) where out Tour concludes with joyful memories.
