Short city break ideal for a first visit to Iceland. Enjoy 3 nights in Reykjavík, the capital of Iceland, explore the cities famous landmarks, hunt for the Northern Lights evening and take a dip in the famous Blue Lagoon Geothermal Spa. There is also plenty of opportunities to add on extra day tours should you wish to explore more of Iceland. The package includes flights, 3 nights accommodation in Reykjavík including breakfast, transfer between airport and the hotel, a Northern Lights Hunt Tour and trip to the Blue Lagoon, comfort entry including towel, drink and silica mud mask.

Day wise Itinerary

• Day 1 : Arrival and Northern Lights Hunt

  Arrival at Keflavík International Airport. Transfer to your accommodation in the city center, Reykjavík, double/twin room including breakfast.
  
  Northern Lights Hunt Tour: The Northern Lights, also known as the Aurora Borealis are a spectacular natural phenomenon.The locations visited are different every tour since we go where it’s most likely to see the Northern Lights each day. This tour is depending on weather and sightings are not guaranteed. If you don't see the lights on your tour you are welcome to join the tour again free of charge the following night.
  
  You will be picked up from your hotel at 8:30 / 9:30 pm by an experienced English speaking guide. You will travel in a coach to the best locations which will vary depending on the weather and viewing conditions. Duration is around 3 hours.

• Day 2 : Explore Reykjavík

  Reykjavík is an exciting modern city with lots to see and do or if you want to relax visit one of the many spas and swimming pools. We will send you plenty of suggestions of the "must see's" in the city.

• Day 3 : Take An Optional Day Tour

  Today is yours to continue to explore Reykjavík or take an optional day tour out of the city. Iceland has spectacular scenery and much of this is only an hour or two from Reykjavík. We will suggest some options for day and half day excursions which we can arrange for you. One of the most popular tour is the "Golden Circle Tour".
  
  Optional Excursion: Golden Circle Tour
  The Golden Circle is a fascinating experience. You will explore the world-famous Geysir geothermal area, a geothermal field where hot springs are in abundance, geysers erupt and pools of mud bubble.
  
  You also stop by the magnificent Gullfoss waterfalls and visit Þingvellir national park, the original site of the oldest existing parliament in the world. At Þingvellir, the great Atlantic rift is clearly visible; a rift that is slowly pulling Iceland apart along tectonic plates.

• Day 4 : Departure via Blue Lagoon

  Departure to the UK from Keflavik International Airport.
  
  Enjoy a trip to the Blue Lagoon on your way to the airport. Relax in the Blue Lagoon for 2-3 hours. The comfort entry at the lagoon includes use of towel, a drink of your choice and silica mud mask. You can book a treatment if you like, have a lunch at the Blue Lagoon or just relax in this wonderful spa.
  
  Please note if your flight is in the morning we will arrange the Blue Lagoon trip on day 2 or 3.
