Walking through breathtaking gorges and large meadows of the Nubra valley, our tour passes through Khardung La (5400m) which is also the highest motorable road in the world, an eternally snow bound pass connecting Nubra and Indus valleys.
Nubra, the name of the valley and the town as well, is a tri-armed valley located to the north east of Ladakh nestling between the tall Saltoro and Karakoram ranges. Locally and originally, the valley is named as Ldumra that means the valley of flowers. The flat and eloquent Nubra Valley is being criss-crossed along the Khardung La(5400m) granting the winding channels of the Shayok and Nubra Rivers.

on the Way Back to Leh Visit Shey (built in 17th Century By King Deldan Namgyal) Capital of Ancient Ladakh, is An Interesting Complex Whose Importance is Still Measured By the Quality of the Paintings and the Astonishing Quantity of Chortens or other Votive Monuments that Surround It, Especially the Copper Gilt Statue of Lord Buddha the Rock-carved Statue of Five Buddha Can Be Seen Below the Palace On the Roadside, Which Was Probably Carved During the Reign of Singay Namgyal.

Day 3 : Leh – Nubra Valley (3040m)-Khardung la (5400m) 135kms
Start the Day Getting Ready to Travel to the Nubra Valley. It is One of the Most Popular Tourist Destinations of Ladakh. The Unique Landscape Has Given It the Name of ‘desert in Sky’ Drive Through Khardungla (highest Motorable Road in the World) the Spectacular Views of the Never Ending Snow-capped Mountain Ranges Around Khardungla, Proceed to Nubra Valley, Post Lunch We Explore Nubra Valley We Start with Diskyid (founded in the 14th Century By Changzem Sherab Zangpo) Monastery Located On a Hilltop from Where One have the Panoramic View of Nubra Valley, this is the Oldest and Largest Monastery in Nubra Valley and Belongs to Gelugpa Sect, Then We Head to Hunder Which is Famous for Its Sand Dunes and for (double-humped) Bactrian Camels. Day 4 : Hunder-Turtuk Hunder (3040m) 180kms
After Breakfast Drive to Turtuk, the Last Village On the Road Accessible By Civilians. as You Enter Turtuk, You Will Know What It Means to Be “frozen in Time”. One of the Gateways to Siachen Glacier, this Village Was Captured By Indians Army in War of 1972 with Pakistan. Drive Back to Hunder. O/n Fixed Camp.
Day 5 : Hunder-Ensa-Panamic-Sumur (3080m) 110kms
After having breakfast we leave Hunder and heading toward Ensa Monastery via visiting Yarab Tso and Panamic.
Ensa Gompa: A 260 year old Monastery, Ensa Gompa is located on top of a rock that overlooks the snow capped mountains of
Nubra valley and here you will experience the true meaning of the middle of nowhere, coz this Gompa is located far from the village.
Yarab Tso: Considered sacred, Yarab Tso is a small but beautiful lake located little away from main road. Panamic is another small but beautiful village called Panamic. Believed to be curative, the hot water springs are the prime attraction of this village. O/N fixed camp or hotel
Day 6 : Sumur-Khardungla-Leh 135kms
Today early in the morning we will join the morning assemble (puja) in Samstanling Monastery which located in Sumur village, built in early 19th century by Lama Tsultim Nyima. The new assembly hall of the monastery holds elegant paintings and murals of Lord Buddha and his teachings, of Dharmachakra and other facets of Buddhism. Come back to hotel for breakfast and we drive towards Leh en-route we visit Zimskhang Palace is believed to be the residence of the royal family of Nubra, Then the drive is quite interesting loaded with breathtaking views of snow-peak mountains range and it takes us again to the world’s highest motor-able pass of Kharzong La (5400m); here we stop for some time and then continue our drive towards Leh.O/N hotel
Day 7 : Leh
Free time for personal activities. O/N hotel
Day 8 : Leh-Delhi
Early morning transfer to Leh airport to board flight back to destination. tour ends with sweets memories.
For the more adventurous a drive to either Manali or Srinagar can also be arranged on request. The road journey is covered in two or more days with an overnight halt at either Serchu or Jispa, which lies on the Leh-Manali highway, or Kargil, which lies on the Leh-Srinagar highway.
