Day wise Itinerary

• Day 1 : Bhuvaneshwar

  Arrival Bhubaneswar, meet & assistance, transfer to hotel. Later visit the 1st century BC rock cut caves at Kahndagiri & udaygiri caves , tribal museum & local market.
• Day 2 : Bhuvaneshwar

  Morning post breakfast visit the ancient temples of Bhubaneswar like parsurameswar, Mukteshwar, lingaraj , Rajarani temple. See the hindu ritual activities near bindu sagar tank later drive to hirapur on the outskirt of Bhubaneswar to see the unique tantrik temple popularly known as 64 yogini temple, on the way back visit the 2nd century BC Ashokan rock edict on the bank of river Daya, overnight at Bhubaneswar.
• Day 3 : Bhuvaneshwar - Konark - Puri 120km 2.5 hrs

  Check out & drive to puri enroute visiting pipili famous for applique , the villgers make unique handicraft with different coloured fabrics stitched with mirrors & konark the world heritage site, fine specimen of kalingan school of architecture dedicated to sun god Surya. Later visit the stone carving village at chaitana & overnight puri

• Day 4 : Puri

  Early morning visit the fisherman village where you can see hundreds of boats going & coming back from sea, photogenic activities, visit their village back to hotel for breakfast. Later walk in the bylanes of hindu heart centre Puri around Jagannath temple to experience devotion of piligrms later see this temple from roof terrace as non hindus are not allowed to enter temple complex. Visit the traditonal potters lane where potters make earthen pots for the temple later visit the folk painting village at Raghurajpur where you can see the patta paintings & palm leaf engravings, interact with the artists & back to hotel at puri.

• Day 5 : Puri – Gopalpur 220km- 5hrs

  Post breakfast drive to olasing, the weavers village where you can see weaving of silk saree & scarfs later drive to mangalajodi on the outskirt of chilika lake( the biggest brackish water lake of Asia), go through a koyak boat on the lake to see the bird life near to their habitat. Contine driving to Gopalpur & overnight.
• Day 6 : Gopalpur – Rayagada 240km – 6hrs

  Morning drive to chandragiri enroute Taptapani the hot sulpher spring. At chandragiri visit the tibetan settlement ,budhist monastery & chortens. Launch & dive through semi tropical rain forest towards Rayagada, on the way visit the desia kondh tribal villages. Overnight at Rayagada.
• Day 7 : Rayagada- Bisamkatak- Rayagada 120km – 4hrs

  This day drive to dukum the colourful weekly market of desia kondhas later visit the tradional crafts village at jhigidi where you can see making of bronze tribal jewellary by lost wax method later visit the tradional desia kondh villages , overnight Rayagada
• Day 8 : Rayagada –chhatikona- Jeypore 210km – 5hrs

  Morning drive to chhatikona with prior permission to visit the weekly market of Dongariya kondhas who were once infamous for human sacrifice, now the substitute is water buffalow. Dongariyas are horticulturist, strong in their traditions, marriage by dormitory system, their supreme diety is mother earth. Photography in this market is prohibited. Later drive to Jeypore enroute visit kuvi kondh village overnight Jeypore.
• Day 9 : Jeypore- Onkudelli- Jeypore 150km- 3hrs

  Morning drive to onkudelli the most interesting market of Bonda/ Gadaba & didayee weekly market with prior permission & photography is prohibited. 12000 bondas live in the bondhills are isolated till date due to geographical terrain. They speak a different language called remo belongs to austo Asiatic language group. Bonda ladies with shaven head cover their nudity with colourful beads & ornaments . The bonda men with short height always go out with bow & arrow. The group is aggressive. You can see different county side alcohols in the market. Later visit the gadaba tribal villages. Overnight hotel at Jeypore.
• Day 10 : jeypore- kunduli- jeypore 110km- 3hrs

  Drive to kunduli , one of the largest weekly market of rana, Paroja & mali tribal market , later visit the tribal museum at koraput & jagannth temple post launch visit the paroja tribal villages. Overnight at Jeypore.
• Day 11 : Jeypore- Jagdalpur (Chhatisgarh) 160km- 4hrs

  Drive to jagdalpur entoute kotpad weaving village where you can see the natural dye on fabrics. Later drive to mardum weekly market of maria gond tribes & chitrakut water falls ( horse shoe shape). Overnight Jagdalpur
• Day 12 : Region de Narayanpur 280km- 6hrs

  Excursion to narayanpur area to see visit the muria gond tribal villages & their youth dormitoty. Visit to the market is optional . Your guide will inform you about the situation on that day as the market is not safe for maoist.
• Day 13 : Jagdalpur- tirathgarh- Jagdalpur 80km- 2 hrs

  Drive to kanger valley to see the tirathgarh water fall, caves & tribal villages of Dhurua gond & maria gond. interact with this group & back to hotel at jagdalpur.
• Day 14 : De Jagdalpur a Paknar et Kondagaon 150km- 3hrs

  The day is dedicated to bastar craft. You can see different craft village of bastar region near kondagaon special focus on ferro craft villages unique to bastar tradition. Overnight in home stay.
• Day 15 : De Kondagaon a Kanker 150km- 4hrs

  Drive to kanker enrote visiting muria gond tribal villages , on arrival receive by royal family of kanker. Overnight & dine with family.
• Day 16 : De Kanker a Rajim et Bhoramdeo 260km – 6/7 hrs

  Long drive to bhoramdeo enroute visit the rajim temple. On arrival visit the bhoramdeo temple overnight in resort.
• Day 17 : Region de Bhoramdeo 120km- 4hrs

  This day is dedicted to the most intersting baiga tribes. Morning visit to baiga tribal villages & in the afternoon see the unique market at teregaon. The tribe is famous for their tatoos on their body & overnight.
• Day 18 : De Bhoramdeo a Raipur et Delhi/ Mumbai

  Post breakfast drive to airport at Raipur to board flight for Delhi/ Mumbai.
