Day wise Itinerary

• Day 1 : Puri

  Arrival at Puri. Jagannath Darshan & city tour of Puri including Potters village of Jagannath Temple, Grand Road/ Market area. Excursion to Satpada on Chilika Lake.
  Jagannath Temple at Puri is One of the Pilgrimage Centre of India with the largest kitchen in the world, attracts around One Lac devotees everyday in this temple from all around the world. Puri is One of the Four Dhams of Hindu people, which is believed to be like Mecca for Muslims. As this Place known as Sankha Khetra & the Temple Idols represent all the Three Concepts of Hinduism, Brahma, Vishnu & Shiva, One Hindu can come to this Place to complete the Pilgrimage in case not able to visit the All Four Dhams in Four Corners of India. Jagannath Temple is allowed for Hindus only. We will use the Platform (Closed on Sunday & Local Holidays) in front of the Temple to watch the activities partially inside the temple. Every Year, during June/July the Grand Chariot Festival of the Temple Attracts around One Million People around the World to this place.
  Chilika Lake is the Largest Brackish Water Lake of Asia spreading over 1100 sq kms of area. This lake accommodates Migratory Birds during December to April from Siberia, Australia & many more countries of the world. Some of the birds now have made their permanent home at this lake. Wild Asiatic Irrawaddy Dolphins are One of the Major Attractions for the Tourist coming for the Visit to the Lake.. Visit to the Lake also allows the clients to watch the Fishermen’ activities. There are many islands in this Lake & now some of them are still not connected with the road. People use the Big Boats for their means of Transportation. Overnight at Puri

• Day 2 : Puri - Raghurajpur - Konark

  Drive to Konark on the way visiting Raghurajpur Artisans’ village, Ramchandi Temple, Chandrabhaga Beach & Fishermen’s village area. Visit of Konark Sun Temple.
  
  Declared as the Heritage Village of Odisha, Raghurajpur is the only place where you can experience the Artisans working on the Silk, Paper, Beatle Nuts, Coconuts, Cow Dung, Coir & many more. The Traditional Patta Painters of Odisha live in this village in the different parts like Dandasahi, Nayakpatna & Raghurajpur are now experts making different kinds of Artistic useful house hold materials for the market which are worth buying from them. Your visit will introduce to the Age Old Patta Painting workers in the village & their working style.
  
  Sun Temple at Konark, one of the sites of World Heritage, built in a form of Chariot is the Culmination point of Orissan Temple Architecture in 13th Century AD. The life size figure depicting the story of the Social, Royal, Cultural life on the Temple wall has made the Great Guru Rabindranath Tagore to express his feelings as ‘Language of Man is defeated by Language of Stone at Konark’.

• Day 3 : Konark - Dhauli - Pipli - Chaushathi Yogini Temple - Bhubaneshwar

  Drive to Bhubaneshwar on the way visiting Dhauli, Pipli & Chaushathi Yogini Temple.
  
  Pipli is a Small Village of Workers working on the Patch Work Style selling different House Hold articles. Though all the Villagers involved are Muslims, the Appliqué Umbrellas & Canopies are used in Hindu Temples & in the past these were used in the Royal Court & Chariots during the Great Chariot Festival, Called Ratha Yatra.
  
  Written in Pali Language, Dhauli Rock Edicts is the collection of the Special Rock Edicts of King Ashoka Describing the Change of the Life of King Ashok after the Terrible Kalinga war on the River Bank of Daya in 03rd Century B.C.
  
  Chaushathi Yogini Temple with it’s Unique Architectural Style is One of the Best Preserved Temples of India. At Heerapur Village, which is also famous for the Bell Metal Workers for their skill, the visit to the temple is also a nice trip to enjoy a completely different atmosphere & temple architecture of Odisha.

• Day 4 : Bhubaneshwar Sight Seeing - Onward Connection

  Visit of Temples & Khandagiri/ Udaigiri Caves. Visit of Parasurameshwar, Mukteshwar, Rajarani & Lingaraj Temple. Bhubaneshwar, the City of Temples had once upon a time 7000 temples & still having preserved around 500 temples dating back from 07th Century to 11th Century AD..The Caves of Udaigiri & Khandagiri dating back to 03rd Century BC are worth visit of the Sculptures of age old Artists depicting the Social life of the people of that age.
