River rafting on Hvítá river is fun for the whole family! The river, rated 2 out of 5 in difficulty, guarantees you a fun and soaking wet trip which will leave you smiling ear to ear for the rest of your day.
Located about an hour from Reykjavik, the Hvita river has a perfect mix of serene canyons and adrenaline pumping rapids. On our way we pass through the magnificent Bruarhlod canyon where participants can jump from high cliffs into the glacier water.
Experience Iceland’s wild water and glacier river swimming. Rafting down the entire length of the river will take us up to an hour / hour and a half. Following the excursion, we will close with a relaxing time in the sauna.
The Drumbo base camp serves a lunch buffet every day from May – September at 12:00-13:45. This is a great place to stop for lunch before or after your rafting trip. Dinner is served after the afternoon trip at 18:00.
