Oporto – From the Wine Cellar to the City Package

Package Overview

On this tour, we will start the day visiting the Cellars of Douro and finish with a visit to the bookstore whose staircase inspired the stairs of the Castle of Hogwarts (Harry Potter).

After we pick you up at your hotel, we will go to Porto for a visit to Taylor´s – a centenary producer of Port wine. This visit will be followed by going to Cais da Ribeira, an Atmospheric, colorful, World Heritage riverfront medieval district.

After this amazing sightseeing, the Majestic Mercado do Bolhão, a spirited food market to which Jamie Oliver made a beeline when he was in town.

For lunch, we can recommend a restaurant within your requirements so you can enjoy with typical Portuguese food.

After lunch, we will tour the downtown area which includes a visit to the Tower of Clerigos for a breathtaking view of the city of Porto and visits the Gothic Church of Sao Francisco, the largest example of Gothic architecture in Porto.
Ending the Tour with the place where the author of the bestselling series of Harry Potter had the inspiration for Hogwarts “Lello´s Bookstore”.
