Our standard is usually using 3 star hotel with standard AC transportation, but if you wish to have higher standard of accommodation and transportation, we are more than happy to provide the suggestion except in some remote area where only available standard transportation and non star hotel for example in Borneo, and Papua

Day wise Itinerary

• Day 1 : Arrival in Medan - Tangkahan

  Upon arrival at 08.00 on Medan airport, pick up by our tour guide and then drive to Tangkahan about 93 KM away from Medan via Binjai and Batang Seranga. Due to the condition of the road is very bad we will need about 4 or 5 hrs to reach Tangkahan. Upon arrival in Tangkahan then check in at local lodge for overnight. Then easy trekking through the patrolling zone of the park or just enjoy the crystal clear water and waterfall. Observe the nature wealth of this place, it's flora and fauna life. Lunch on the way. In the afternoon, back to the lodge and overnight. Dinner at your personal account.

• Day 2 : Tangkahan – Elephant Ride

  Friday NO Elephant Riding as the elephants use for patrolling. After breakfast walking to the starting point for Elephant riding, where you will experience riding Sumatra Elephant, will pass the river and jungle. The Elephant riding will take about one hour, after riding the Elephant, pick nick lunch near the water fall. After finished then walk through palm oil plantation and local village to get the ride by motor cycle or car. You will get young coconut fruits before transferring to your local lodge. Free time at your own leisure and dinner at your personal account.

• Day 3 : Tangkahan – Bukit Lawang By Jeep (b,L)

  After breakfast leave Tangkahan for Bukit Lawang by Jeep passing plantation and jungle road, on the way stop at Plantation and several interesting places (school!!!) for enjoying the panorama and witness the activities of the local people. Upon arrival at Bukit Lawang check in to hotel. Free time at your own leisure enjoying surrounding lodge.

• Day 4 : Trekking At Leuser National Park

  After breakfast then walking through the bank of the river and crossing the river by traditional canoe, walking up the jungle to see the Orangutan on the their feeding time. After feeding the Orangutan trekking through the Leuser National Park. Walking around Leuser National Park is the time to experience many kind of flora and fauna as well enjoy the song of birds and Siamang "The Black Gibbon" . Night stay at tent or shelter. Lunch and dinner provided, cooked by the guide team.

• Day 5 : Trekking At Leuser - Return to Bukit Lawang

  After breakfast, today is another half day walking and explore the rain tropical forest with their wild life living in their natural habitat. Lunch is included. In mid noon return back to Bukit Lawang, check-in at Eco Lodge Bukit Lawang Cottage. Dinner included.

• Day 6 : Bahorok – Medan - Berastagi

  After breakfast, pick up by our coach then drive back to Medan for another 4 hours and onto Berastagi for another 2 hours. Berastagi, a midsize and cool town on the highland of Karo. Berastagi is an ideal place for refreshing / relax. This town is surrounded by towering mountains and small Karonese village where the local grows fruits and vegetables. In Berastagi, we will be visiting local market at Berastagi where locals sell and buy fruits, flowers, and vegetables which are plenty on the vicinity of the town.

• Day 7 : Berastagi – Parapat - Samosir

  After breakfast, transfer to Karo Plateau Parapat (drive approx 6 hours) that runs along the northern edge of vulakna Toba Tonning stop on a hill where you can see Sipiso-Piso waterfall, flowing into Lake Toba from hundred meters height. The road runs through the fruit and vegetable plantations and pine forests with a beautiful view of the lake. Then you see a long house (Rumah Bolon) Simalungun Batak tribe. After arriving in Parapat - the famous resort on the shores of Lake Toba, boating by ferry to Samosir Island. Relax at the hotel.

• Day 8 : Lake Toba Excursion

  Breakfast at the hotel. Tour by car. Ambarita visit the villages where you can see the ancient megalithic structures, among them the so-called "table cannibal”. The village was an important meeting place for Sialagana King, who as king, rescued her and restored order in all the villages and villages Simanindo, which ends at the North end of the island and is known as one of the best villages with traditional houses of Batak Toba. The village is a museum Sidauruk King, there is a chance see dance performances village Toba Batak. Then check one of the most famous landmarks - the tomb of King Sidabutar, sarcophagus which is more than 200 years. Back to hotel.

• Day 9 : Samosir - Parapat – Medan

  In the morning cruise back to Parapat. Drive to Medan, along the way you'll pass several small traditional villages, rubber plantations, cocoa plantations and beautiful terraced rice fields. Seen Simalungun highlands, the key plantation region, there is also a huge estate management palm oil and cocoa. Then transfer to the hotel in Medan for rest and overnight.

• Day 10 : Medan – Bali

  Today we will transfer you to the airport for your flight to Next Indonesia Tour destination. End of your Sumatra Trip.
