Day wise Itinerary

• Day 1 : Jaisalmer

  You will be received by our team member at the railway station or airport and take you to the hotel you will be staying at. You can spend your morning and noon at leisure in the hotel. In the evening you will visit the famous and beautiful Gadisar Lake that is a manmade lake and was once the only source of water in Jaisalmer. You will then visit the magnificent Vyas Chhatri, it is a cenotaph made out of yellow sandstone and is dedicated to sage Vyas who wrote the epic Mahabharat. It has intricate designs that increase the beauty of the place by ten folds. Then you return to the hotel and stay there overnight.

• Day 2 : Jaisalmer

  Our second day starts with breakfast at the hotel and then we visit the Jaisalmer Fort. The Jaisalmer fort is known to be one of the few ‘living forts’ that exists in the world. It is called so because nearly the cities one-fourth of the population lives there. We then visit the Jain temple built here by the community and the temple gives us a great insight into Jain art and architecture. Then we visit the Patwa Haveli. Havelis are a major attraction because it showcases the amount of planning and detailing people put into their houses. Each haveli is huge with different styles of architecture and it always makes people wonder did people live in such huge houses. In the evening we visit the desert camp which will make you feel like you are in a scene straight out of the Arabian nights. We then enjoy the sunset over the desert dunes on camelback. We then will spend the night in tents in the middle of the dessert with cultural programs showcasing the flok music and dance of Rajasthan.

• Day 3 : Jaisalmer

  We start our day with breakfast at the desert camp and then explore Kuldhara the spooky abandoned town in Jaisalmer that has a lot of ghost stories associated with it. If you love spooky places you are in for a ride. We then visit the famous Amar Sagar which is also a manmade lake and has a Jain temple built on its shore. We then visit Badabagh which is a beautiful garden located in the city. This ends our Journey and then you will be dropped off at Railway Station or Airport.
