Day wise Itinerary

• Day 1 : Leh

  Reaching Padam from Srinagar/ Leh.
• Day 2 : Leh

  Reaching Padam from Srinagar/ Leh.
• Day 3 : Leh

  Rest Day ( Acclimitization ).
• Day 4 : Padum-Mune

  Walking Time 6 hrs.> Noe jeeps are available for much of the route to be covered by traveling.
• Day 5 : Mune-Purne

  Walking Time 8hrs.> Can make this stage in two section as best option is to take a halt at reru 3850m. It is gradual ups and downs to Purne 3700m.
• Day 6 : Purne-Phugtal and Tetha

  Walking Time4 hrs.> Visit Phugtal monastery 3850m. A gradual walk to Tetha 3950m.
• Day 7 : Tetha-Tanze

  Walking Time 4 hrs.> At 3850m Tanze is very easy and gradual walk.
• Day 8 : Tanze-Phitse La

  Walking Time 7 hrs.> Steep ascending for 500m, camping at base of the pass 4800m.

  Rest Day ( High Pass ).
• Day 10 : base of Pass - Kilang Sarai

  Walking Time 6-7 hrs.> crossing river, Gradual walk to Kilang Sarai 4600m.
• Day 11 : Kilang Sarai-Baralacha La

  Kilang Sarai-Baralacha La : Walking Time 3-4 hrs.> From camp site trail joins Leh-Manali road at Baralacha La 4950m.
• Day 12 : Manali

  Traveling to Leh/Manali: Travel according to your option.
• Day 13 : Manali

  Traveling to Leh/Manali: Travel according to your option.
