This great hike is located in La Culata national park north of Mérida city. Pan De Azúcar peak is 4640 meter high and its great for Trekking as there is no need for technical equipment nor climbing

Day wise Itinerary

• Day 1 : LA CULATA VALLEY

  3 hour Ground transfer from merida airport the Culata Valley at 2900 meters above sea level. Todays 4 hour hike will take you through beautiful landscapes and local plants and wildlife. Camp in Tents at 3800 meters.

  • Meals & Drinks Lunch, Dinner
• Day 2 : PAN DE AZUCAR SUMMIT

  Todays 10 hour hike begins ver early passing along the typical Frailejon plant that reaches up to 3 meters in this region! Reaching the Summit at 4680 meters you can enjoy the view of many other andean peaks scatterred along the mountain range. back to camp. Tents

  • Meals & Drinks Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner
• Day 3 : MUSUY HOT SPRINGS

  Todays 6 hour hike will take us to the relaxing hot spring of La Musuy 3500 meters. Directly from the hot natural pool you can enjoy endless views the the andes range. Finally we continue to the main road where our car will take you to Mérida. Free afternoon to walk town
