Our private reserve is located at 700 meters of altitude near Puntarenas and 14 kilometers from the Pan-American Highway. You reach it by a paved serpentine road from where you enjoy a spectacular sight over the beautiful landscape and the Golf of Nicoya.
Prepare yourselves for a unique experience.
Tropical flora and fauna is waiting for you. Note that wild animals do not flee so quickly when approached on horseback. On our horseback riding tours you have a precious opportunity to pass close by and observe them.

Our reserve comprehends a surface of 50.000 square meters. Here, our 30 horses run free, which is close to the natural life of a horse and keeps them in perfect physical and mental conditions to comply which their duty and reach a respectable age.
The breeds of our horses are Paso Fino and other gait horses. We also have breed mixtures of Quarter Horses and Arabian Horses. All of these are bred for the purpose of working with the human being. So they are friendly horses which are comfortable and trustworthy. They maintain their foothold even on extremely difficult tracks, so your horseback riding tour is a safe adventure.
Take a horseback riding tour with us through green forests, colorful fruit plantations, fertile fields and a fantastic rural landscape.
A bilingual guide will take care of your questions and explain all details about the rich biodiversity in the area. It does not matter if you are an experienced rider or rather a beginner. We have the adequate horses for both.

For your comfort and safety we offer you a variety of saddles, among which are saddles for adults and children and Western saddles. These latter have the great advantage that they distribute their own and the riders weight over an ample surface. This maintains the horses fresh, which is most important on long riding tours. In addition, their seats are large and comfortable, their stirrups broad. This is what keeps the rider fresh.
If you have never used a Western saddle - do not worry! We help you saddle and explain whatever you want. You will quickly get accustomed to your saddle and find riding in it most enjoyable.
