Day wise Itinerary

• Day 1 : Arrive Srinagar - Full Day City Tour

  Upon arrival at Srinagar (1730 m), our representative would meet and assist you at the airport. Take the first glimpse of the beautiful city while your transfer to the Hotel. Check in and relax in your room. Later we proceed for a city sightseeing tour.
  
  We visit Nishat Bagh (Abode of pleasure), built by Asif Khan, brother in-law of Jehangir in 1632 AD. The largest of the gardens, Nishat Bagh has seven terraces with beautiful water channel flowing right in the middle. Shalimar Bagh (Abode of love) was built by Emperor Jehangir for his wife Empress Nur Jahan in 1619 AD. The Garden has four terraces; the 4th terrace was once reserved for royal ladies. Chashme Shahi (The Royal Spring) was laid out by Shah Jehan in 1632 AD. It commands a magnificent view of the Dal Lake below and surrounding mountain ranges. The cool water of the spring is highly refreshing. All the gardens are situated on the banks of Dal Lake with the Zabarwan Mountains in the background and Shankracharya Temple located on a hillock, thus providing a panoramic view of entire city.
  
  We then visit Dal Lake to experience the most relaxing and soothing part of Kashmir holiday. While on the wonderful Shikara Boat Ride, see the floating vegetable market too. View different species of aquatic birds, the beautiful white and pink lotuses blooming in the lake and the breathtaking views around. Have dinner afterwards.

• Day 2 : Srinagar - Sonmarg - Srinagar

  Have your fill at morning breakfast. Today we go for a full day excursion of Sonmarg. It is a stunning 85 kms drive from Srinagar taking about 3 hours to reach. Sonmarg is the last stop of Kashmir District further to which the Ladakh territory starts. Sonmarg means ‘Meadow of Gold’ that is perfectly true. At an altitude of 2743 m above sea level, Sonmarg is all covered in snow till as far as your eyes can go. With rarest and loveliest of flowers and alpine trees making a cover on all sides, it makes an ethereal landscape to witness. You may enjoy a pony ride to Thajiwas Glacier where snow remains all round the year. Return to Srinagar by evening and have dinner.

• Day 3 : Srinagar - Gulmarg

  After breakfast, we would go to Gulmarg, an exceptionally beautiful mountain resort, at an altitude of 2,650m. Originally called ‘Gaurimarg’ by shepherds, its present name was given in the 16th century by Sultan Yusuf Shah, who was inspired by the sight of its grassy slopes filled with wild flowers. Also called ‘Meadow of Wild Flowers’, it was the favorite haunt of Emperor Jahangir who once collected 21 different varieties of flowers from here.
  
  25 kms from Srinagar, Gulmarg is one of the most beautiful resorts in the valley. It has been a resort for the kings who used to visit Gulmarg frequently. Not only the highest green golf course in the world with 18 holes, Gulmarg also boasts Asia’s highest and longest cable car project, the Gulmarg Gondola. It’s a two- stage ropeway which offers breathtaking views of snow clad mountain peaks and a one-of-its-kind unique experience. Gulmarg is the country’s premier ski resort in winters which offers one of the best ski slopes in the world so enjoy skiing too. Enjoy a hot dinner.

• Day 4 : Gulmarg - Pahalgam

  Enjoy morning breakfast at hotel and check out from the hotel. Later we proceed to Pahalgam, inarguably one of the most beautiful places on earth. The town of Pahalgam (Village of Shepherds), situated at the foothills of Himalayas, offers breathtaking views of snow capped peaks. Enjoy hot and freshly made dinner.

• Day 5 : Pahalgam (Day Free)

  Enjoy a lazy morning with a bed tea or coffee taking majestic views from the window. Today is a day for your own exploration. Enjoy a relaxed day at the foothills of Himalayas. One can go on for strolls, or pony ride to one of the many beautiful spots around Pahalgam. You can also visit Mamaleshwara, a beautiful small place just about a km downstream from Pahalgam. On the opposite side of the Lidder, there is this small Shiva temple with its square, stone tank believed to date from even before than 12th century. Enjoy the day in your way and return to hotel in evening. Enjoy hot local dinner.

• Day 6 : Pahalgam - Srinagar

  Wake up to a blissful morning at Pahalgam. Have breakfast and check out from the hotel.
