Day wise Itinerary

• Day 1 : MANALI TO CHANDERTAL (4200m, by car, 5hrs)

  Drive in the direction of north toward Rohtang pass (3981m) this is the gateway of Lahaul Spiti district. Which offer an extensive view of C B and Shingri range. This is a beautiful lake source of Chandra River. Shepherd of Kangra valley can be seen with their flocks. Overnight in camp.

• Day 2 : CHANDER TAL TO KAZA (3600m by car 5hrs)

  Walk up to KUNZOM PASS (4580) the gateway of Spiti. Car pick from pass. Losor is the first village of Spiti its very beautiful village. Kaza is small village town there is many hotels & restaurant. Night at camp or hotel.

• Day 3 : KAZA TO KOMIK (4500m) by car 5hrs.

  Langcha (4100m) situated back side of kaza, large high mountain meadow Komik 4500m highest village of world. Evening back to Kaza.

• Day 4 : KAZA TO TABO (3050m by car 6hrs)

  Drive to lingti valley and visit to lalung gonpa which is the most important monastery in the valley. Next is dankher monastery the ancient capital of Spiti Kingdom. It situated high on the barren rocky mountain slopes. Continue drive to Tabo the Ajanta of Himalaya .it is a famous monastery next to Tholing monastery of Tibet. Night at camp or hotel.

• Day 5 : TABO TO PIN VALLEY (3700m) 3hrs

  Visit to Kungri Monastery only one monastery of Nyigmapa sect in Spiti valley. Sangnam is biggest village in pin valley. Pin valley is known for its national park home of snow leopards and ibex. Night at village (home stay) or camp.

• Day 6 : PIN VALLEY TO KIBBER 4200m 3hrs by car

  On the way visit to Kye monastery, perched high on a pyramid-like mountain. It is the biggest and oldest monastery of the valley it houses beautiful scripture and painting of Buddha and other goddesses.

• Day 7 : Halt

  Halt and small walk around the village.

• Day 8 : Kibber to Thaltak 4500m 5 hrs

  First day of trek leaving behind descend 500m. To the narrow Parilungbi gorge cross the parangchu by bridge and follow small stem until dumla. Gradual climbing up to ridge from where splendid and spacticular view of Shila Peak 6303m to southeast half an hour down to the campsite of Theta.

• Day 9 : Thaltak to Base of Parangla (5000m) 5hrs

  Now trail descend of 400 m .down puriliga chu .climb to sagthag and walk over moraine starch farther gradual and exhausting climb to glacier valley one to the north one to the moraine stretch toward north and the arrive at the campsite Jagthag

• Day 10 : Bace of paranla to other side base camp ( 5600m) 6/7 hrs

  Base of Parangla to other side of Base camp go up to pass 5600m and down to para chu this is an eventful day for those who never climbed this height before. on patches of snow panoramic view of peaks of Ladakh, Lahaul and Spiti for below in the north west you can see the Para Chu which original from this Pass to flows southern part of Tibet an and again enter in the in spiti to join to Spiti river. Descend through crevasses and glacier then follow the left side of the river arrive at the campsite.

• Day 11 : BASE OF PARANGLA TO UMNA 6hrs

  Continue to same direction only challenge is a cross the river before reaching the campsite this is quite an easy day.

• Day 12 : UMNA TO NORBU SUMDO 6-7 hrs

  Just cross the Para Chu River continue upwards the ancient route of monks and merchants. While the Tibet was free having relation of culture and goods between Ladakh spiti and Tibet

• Day 13 : NORBU SUMDO TO SOUTH OF TSO-MORIRI 6hrs

  Walk on the beautiful pasture land. You can see many flora and fauna, rabbit, wild donkey (kiyang), ibex, snow leopard.

  • Themes : Trekking

• Day 14 : SOUTH TSO-MORIRI TO KARZOK 4350M 7hrs

  The trail goes to beside the lake, long and pleasant walk and karzo is the first village of Ladakh region here you can see many nomad people. The car picks you Leh and finished the trek.

• Day 15 : KARZOK TO LEH 7/8 hrs

  Early morning start to Leh by car- end of the tour.
