Paro Festival, 2016 is from 20th-24th March. It is very popular and attracts huge crowd from Paro and other part of the country. The monks and laymen performed dances in amazing masks and costumes. Paro Festival is one of the best examples to experience the ancient living culture of Bhutan. During the Festival, Bhutanese people gathered in their finest clothing for celebration as a part of the culture
Tariff: Bhutan has fixed tariff set by Government for Foreign tourist other than tourist from India, Bangladesh and Maldives. Bhutan Eden Holidays is the specialist in arranging all-inclusive tours and vacation trips in Bhutan for individuals, families, and groups. Bhutan Eden Holiday also arrange for client requested itineraries. Tariffs: For a group of 3 persons or more, the minimum daily tariff for the international tourist is fixed as follows:
High Season Tariff - US$ 250 per person per night halt (March, April, May, September, October & November)
Low Season Tariff - US$ 200 per person per night halt (January, February, June, July, August & December)
Surcharge: Surcharge for individual traveler is US$ 40 per night. Surcharge for groups of two persons is US$ 30 per person per night. The surcharge will not apply to representatives from Travel agents on business promotion visit approved by Tourism Council of Bhutan.
Discounts:
No charge for children unto 5 years of age. Children between 6-12 years accompanied by elders shall be given 50% discounts on daily rates.
Student below the age of 25 years will be eligible for 25% discount on daily rates.
One person shall be given 50% discount on daily rates in a group of 11 to 15 people.
One person shall be given 100% discount on daily rates in a group exceeding 16 people.
Tourists availing discount under {a} & {b} will not be eligible for discount.
Agency Commission is 10% on tour amount to principal agents’ abroad deductible at source. No agency commission on surcharges of 1 to 2 pax.

Day 1 : Arrival in Paro-Thimphu
Reception on arrival at Paro Airport (2280 meters) by representative from Bhutan Eden Holidays and drive to Thimphu

Day 2 : Thimphu Sightseeing
After breakfast, start sightseeing with Memorial Chorten, monument built in memory of the Late His Majesty the third King, Jigme Dorji Wangchuk. Visit tallest Buddha statute of the world in Kuensel phordang. Next visit National Library which has the collection of ancient Buddhist manuscripts. Continue visit of art school which is famous for painting and curving.
After lunch visit Changangkha monastery built in the 12th century. This monastery is known as Children’s monastery as the children born in Thimphu are considered to be protected by the guardian deity of the monastery. Continue visit of Mothing Zoo where you can see National animal of Bhutan-Takin.
In evening visit Tashichodzong –the fortress of the glorious religion built by Shabdrung Nagawang Nyamgyal in 1641. This is the centre of the government ministries and religion. It houses the “Throne of the King” and Central Monastic Body.

Day 3 : Paro Tshechue-Day 1
After breakfast drive to Rinpung-dzong and watch Paro Tshechue program. Overnight halt in a hotel in Paro
Day 4 : Paro Tshechue-Day 2
After breakfast drive to Rinpung-dzong and watch Paro Tshechue. In the evening, drive to Drugyal Dzong. This dzong now is in ruins state. If the weather is clear, enjoy an amazing view of mountain peaks from Drugyal.

Day 5 : : Paro Tshechue-Day 3
In the morning go to Rinpung-dzong and for Paro Festival program In the evening visit Kichu Lhakhang, the sacred monastery.

Day 6 : Paro Tshechue-Day 4
In the morning go to Rinpung-dzong for Festival. After lunch drive to Chelala pass the highest pass between Paro and Haa valley. Enjoy the beautiful views of the mountain and valleys.

Day 7 : Paro Tshechue – Day 5
On the fifth day Tshechue program starts early. People start gathering early. The program of un-furling of Thongdrel will be in the early morning. Join Tshechue early to watch Thongdrel.

Day 8 : Paro: hike to Taktsang Monastery
Start excursion after a short drive to Satsam Chorten. The path is through beautiful pine forest. Stop for light refreshment at Taktsang Cafeteria. A climb up hill further and comes the Taktsang Monastery-the Tiger Nest. The Taktsang Monastery is the most sacred for the Buddhist. The main lakhang was built by Paro Penlop, Gyaltse Tenzin Rabgay in 1684. This amazing monastery clings on the edge of the rocky cliff. It is believed that Guru Padmasambhava who brought Buddhism to Bhutan in 747AD flew in on the back of a flying tigrees.

American plan (AP) includes: Airport pick up and drop, all sightseeing transfer as per itinerary by air conditioned car, accommodation in 4 star hotels on twin sharing basis, all three meals, guide, and entrance fees.
Modified American plan (MAP) includes: Phuentsholing pick up and drop, all sightseeing transfer as per itinerary by air conditioned car, accommodation in 3 star hotels on twin sharing basis, two meals- breakfast and dinner and entrance fees.
Continental Plan (CP) includes: Phuentsholing pick up and drop, all sightseeing transfer as per itinerary by car, accommodation in 2 star hotels on twin sharing basis and breakfast
