Day wise Itinerary

• Day 1 : Arrival

  Meet and greet upon arrival at Bagdogra Airport (IXB) / New Jalpaiguri (NJP) Railway Station and transfer to Gangtok (5412 Ft, 130 Kms / 04 to 05 Hrs). Check in and overnight at Hotel.

  • Meals & Drinks : BREAKFAST ONLY

• Day 2 : Full Day Excursion To Tshangu Lake & Baba Mandir

  Post breakfast, start excursion of Tshangu Lake (12400Ft / 03 Hrs one way from Gangtok) a mountain lake with an average depth of 50 feet, and also visit Baba Mandir (13100Ft / 16 Kms one way from Tshangu Lake). Later return to Gangtok and evening at leisure. Overnight at hotel. (Incase Tshangu Lake is closed due to any other reasons, an alternate full day sightseeing will be provided)
  OPTIONAL NATHULA
  The guests can also visit Nathula Pass by paying a supplement cost (which will be provided on request subject to fulfilment of the given conditions.
  a.At least 72 hrs is needed for organising the permit, which is allotted as per a lottery system on the day of the journey and cannot be guaranteed.
  b.There would not be any refund if the guests are unable to visit Tshangu Lake, Nathula Pass or Baba Mandir due to any reason (Land slide, Heavy rain fall, VIP Movement, Health issues etc) once the permit is issued by the Tourism Department of Sikkim.
  c.Documents required for the processing of the permits include valid photo identity cards (Voter Identity Cards/ Passports / Driving Licenses & Aadhar cards along with 04 recent Passport Size photographs. Pan Card is not accepted as valid identity proof by the Sikkim Tourism Department.
  d.Nathula is closed on Mondays & Tuesdays for tourists.

• Day 3 : Gangtok Half Day - Pelling

  After breakfast, proceed for half day (04 hrs) sightseeing covering Ban Jhakri Water Falls, Do-rul Chhorten, Research Institute of Tibetology (Closed on Sundays), Cottage Handicraft & Handloom (Closed on Sunday) and Flower Show. Later, transfer to Pelling (150 Kms / 05 to 06 Hrs). Check in at hotel and evening at leisure.

  • Meals & Drinks : BREAKFAST ONLY

• Day 4 : Pelling

  After breakfast, enjoy panoramic tour of the famous Darap Village and experience the Rimbi Waterfalls. Later visit Holy Khecheopalri Lake, which is one of the sacred Buddhist mountain lakes, believed to be a wish fulfilling lake. As per mythology, it is also believed that the birds try to keep the lake clean by picking up the leaves that fall on the surface of the placid clear water. Later return to the hotel and spend the evening at leisure.

• Day 5 : Pelling - Darjeeling

  Post breakfast, transfer to the Queen of the Hills, Darjeeling (125 Kms / 05 to 06 Hrs). Check in at hotel and evening at leisure.

• Day 6 : Darjeeling Full Day

  Early morning (4 am) drive to Tiger Hill (8482 Feet) to witness the first rays of the sun change the color of magnificent Mount Khangchendzonga (World’s Third Highest Mountain) (subject to clear weather). On the way back visit Ghoom Monastery (one of the oldest Tibetan Buddhist monasteries in Darjeeling area built in 1850) and the Batasia Loop. After breakfast, proceed for half-day sightseeing of Japanese Temple & Peace Pagoda, Himalayan Mountaineering Institute & Padmaja Naidu Himalayan Zoological Park (Closed on Thursdays), Darjeeling Rope way (Ticket cost not included) Tenzing & Gombu Rocks, Tibetan Refugee Self-Help Center (Closed on Sundays) and view of Tea Estate (from outside). Evening at leisure and overnight at hotel.

  • Hotspots : Padmaja Naidu Himalayan Zoological Park

  • Meals & Drinks : BREAKFAST ONLY

• Day 7 : Departure

  After breakfast, check out of the hotel and drive to Bagdogra Airport (IXB) / New Jalpaiguri (NJP) Railway Station (100 Kms / 03 to 04 Hrs) with beautiful memories.
