Day wise Itinerary

• Day 1 : Arrival at Chennai - Tirupathi (180kms / 4hrs drive)

  Arrive at Chennai airport where you will be given a warm welcome by our company tour executive then directly drive to Tirupathi, a pilgrimage center of great significance and people from all over the world visit this temple throughout the year. On reaching visit Balaji temple located on the Tirumala hill and Padmavathy Devi temple at Keel Tirupathi. Later move to the hotel for overnight stay.

• Day 2 : Tirupathi - Vellore - Thiruvannamalai (250kms / 5hrs drive)

  Today proceed to visit Sri Lakshmi Narayani Temple (Vellore golden temple) located in Sripuram, about 7 Kms from Vellore. Consecrated by Sri Sakthi Amma. It is a unique temple has been coated with gold both in the interior and exterior. After that drive towards Thiruvannamalai which is world renowned pilgrim center located at the foot hills of Annamalai hills and it is one of the Pancha Bhoota Stalam of lord Shiva represents Fire. On reaching check in to the hotel then after fresh-up start to visit Arunachaleeshwara temple and offer your prayers. Later you have an option to visit Ramana Maharishi Ashram. Overnight stay at Thiruvannamalai.

• Day 3 : Thiruvannamalai - Trichy (230kms / 5hrs drive)

  After breakfast drive towards Trichy and visit Sriranganathaswamy temple of lord Vishnu which is the largest functioning Hindu temple in the world and one of the 108 Divya Desams. Later check in to the hotel and relax. Evening proceed to visit Rockfort temple of lord Ganesha (Uchi Pillaiyar temple) which is the landmark of the city. This temple will give you the full view of the city and around the fort you can find the famous textile shops and jewelry shops. After shopping proceed to the hotel for overnight stay.

• Day 4 : Trichy - Palani - Madurai (250kms / 5hrs drive)

  This day after breakfast drive to Palani Murugan temple (one of the Arupadai veedu of lord Muruga). After dharshan drive towards Madurai check in to the hotel and relax. Evening start to visit the famous Meenakshi Amman temple, which is the most attractive example of Dravidian architecture. After dharshan visit the local flower markets and do shopping around the town. Overnight stay at Madurai.

• Day 5 : Madurai

  Today morning start to visit Thirumalai Nayakkar Palace. The architecture of this palace is a fusion of Dravidian and Islamic styles and the interiors are richly decorated. It is declared as a national monument and lot of film shooting film taken in this palace. Then proceed to visit Gandhi museum (Memorial of Gandhi Ji) where you can find some original and replicas of Gandhi's personal belongings. After lunch relax in the hotel. Evening proceed to visit Thiruparamgundram temple of lord Muruga and Palamudhirsolai temple of lord Muruga (One of the Arupadai veedu of lord Muruga). At the entrance of Palamudhirsolai temple you can do dharshan at Azhagar temple dedicated to lord Vishnu. Overnight stay at Madurai.

• Day 6 : Madurai - Kanyakumari (260kms / 6hrs drive)

  After breakfast drive to Kanyakumari which lies in the southernmost tip of India. On reaching check in to the hotel then proceed to take a short boat ride (it's depends on the weather condition) to visit the tremendous 95 feet Thiruvalluvar statue, Vivekananda Memorial, Gandhi Mandapam then visit Kanyakumari Amman temple. You can enjoy the evening with the beautiful sunset. Overnight stay at Kanyakumari.

• Day 7 : Kanyakumari - Tiruchendur - Rameshwaram (320kms / 7hrs drive)

  Start early morning with the sunrise then move to visit Tiruchendur Murugan temple (one of the Arupadai veedu of lord Muruga). Later proceed towards Rameshwaram which is a famous Hindu pilgrimage place. People from all around the world visit this temple and take a dip in the 22 holy well theertham to cleanse their soul from sin. Offer your prayers at Sri Ramanathaswamy temple then move to visit another important place called Ramar Padam or Gandhamadana Parvatham. Ramar Padam has the foot print of Lord Rama and is sacred place for Hindus. After visiting move to the hotel for overnight stay.

• Day 8 : Rameshwaram - Pillaiyarpatti - Tanjore (250kms / 5hrs drive)

  Right after you breakfast heed Pillayarpatti Karppaga vinayaga temple, the ancient rock cut temple in India dedicated to lord Ganesha. Then proceed to Tanjore (Rice Bowl of Tamilnadu) check in to the hotel. In the evening visit Brihadeeshwara temple, the finest Shiva temple on the earth. After visiting proceed to hotel for overnight stay.

• Day 9 : Tanjore - Kumbakonam (40kms / 1hr drive)

  After breakfast proceed towards Kumbakonam (Temple Town) check in to the hotel. Then proceed to visit Adhi Kumbeshwara temple of lord Shiva, Sarangapani temple of lord Vishnu (one of the Divya Desam temple), Chakrapani temple of lord Vishnu, Swamimalai Murugan temple (One of the Arupadai veedu of lord Muruga) then you can visit bronze factories and silk weaving centers. Overnight stay at Kumbakonam.

• Day 10 : Kumbakonam - Chidambaram - Pondicherry (200kms / 4hrs drive)

  This day proceed to visit Chidambaram Nataraja temple which is one of the five holiest Shiva temples represents Akasha. A unique feature of this temple is Ananda Tandava pose of lord Shiva. After dharshan proceed towards Pondicherry check in to the hotel. Then proceed to visit the famous Manakula Vinayagar temple and explore Auroville village. Spherical marble with a crystal inside it and the Meditation centre are the main attraction. Spend the evening in beach with breezy ambience and visit the French colonies. Later move to the hotel for the overnight stay.

• Day 11 : Pondicherry - Mahabalipuram - Kanchipuram (140kms / 4hrs drive)

  After breakfast proceed to visit Mahabalipuram to visit the UNESCO monuments: Arjuna's penance, Shore Temple, Five Rathas, and Krishna's Butterball. Later drive to Kanchipuram, check in the hotel and relax. Then proceed to visit the magnificent temples of Kamakshi Amman temple, Kailashanathar Temple, Ekambareshwar Temple & Varadharaja Perumal temple. After that you can visit the nearby silk weaving factory where you can buy some excellent quality of Silk. Overnight stay at Kanchipuram.

• Day 12 : Kanchipuram - Chennai (70kms / 2hrs drive)

  Today proceed to Chennai "the gateway of South India". Then visit the famous temples like Kapaleeshwara temple at Mylapore, Parthasarathy temple at Triplicane, Santhome Cathedral, and Fort St. George. Evening relax at Marina beach (world's second largest beach) and visit MGR & Anna memorial. Overnight stay at Chennai.

• Day 13 : Chennai

  Spend the full day for shopping and come around the shopping areas like T. Nagar and Pondy bazaar to get all goods at best possible rates. You can visit the famous shopping malls like Skywalk, Express Avenue, etc.. Overnight stay at Chennai.

• Day 14 : Chennai Departure

  This day you will be transferred to the Chennai Airport as per the flight schedule for your onward journey with sweet memories of your trip.
