Day wise Itinerary

• Day 1 : Arrival Kanyakumari

  Arrival at Kanyakumari Railway Station/Trivandrum Airport and transfer to Kanyakumari, the southernmost end of mainland of Indian Subcontinent and an important tourist, spiritual and pilgrim center. Check into the hotel and rest of the day at leisure. Overnight in Kanyakumari.

  Morning after breakfast, go for the sightseeing tour of Kanyakumari. Home to a Shakti Peetha Temple, Kanyakumari is a scenic pilgrimage and spiritual destination and also one of the places where both Surise and sunset are visible from the same place. Kanyakumari has been named after Goddess Parvati, in one of her incarnations as Devi Kanya, who did penance on one of the rocks of this land’s end to obtain the hand of Lord Shiva in marriage. During Sightseeing, Visit Swami Vivekananda Rock Memorial, Sri Kumari Amman Temple, Thiruvananthapuram statue, Gandhi Mandapam, Thriveni Sangamam' and Suchindram temple.

• Day 3 : Kanyakumari - Tiruchirappalli - Rameswaram

  Proceed Rameswaram via - the seashore temple of Subramanian is one of the delightful spots sanctified and venerated by every Hindu. Evening arrive at Rameswaram.

• Day 4 : Rameswaram - Madurai

  Early morning take Shpatik Linga Darshan at the famous Ramanathan Temple - a Master Piece in Dravidian Architecture. Ranganathaswamy Temple is famous for India’s longest temple corridor ever built and Dhanushkodi, another interesting place where Vibishana, brother of Ravana, surrendered before Lord Rama at this spot. It is a strip of land accessible only by Local Jeep (04 wheel drive) about one km wide and 18 km long on the eastern end of Rameswaram island which divides the waters of the Indian Ocean on one side and waters of the Bay of Bengal on the other side. Later proceed to Madurai. Known for imposing Meenakshi Temple, a Shakti Peeth, Madurai is one of India's oldest cities dating back to the 6th century BC. And today an important cultural, religious and commercial center of South India. Arrive at Madurai in the evening. Visit Meenakshi temple - the nucleus of Madurai & its claim to fame for its meticulous colorful carvings on the Gopurams (towers), in the vivid Dravidian image of Gods, Goddess, animal and mythical figures.
