Day 1 : Arrive
Arrival in Cracow. Check-in 3 star Hotel.
Day 2 : Cracow - Old Town
Day dedicated to the discovery of Cracow - the former royal capital, one of the most beautiful cultural heritages of Poland. Guided tour of the Old Town (Stare Miasto) with Main Square, Cloth Hall and Wawel Castle.
Day 3 : Cracow - Ojców - Częstochowa
AM : Departure to Częstochowa, famous place of Marian worship, known as the Polish version of Lourdes. Discover the fortified monastery of the Pauline Fathers that keep the miraculous icon "Black Madonna."
PM : Free time at the shrine of Jasna Góra.
Day 4 : Częstochowa - Oświęcim - Kalwaria Zebrzydowska - Wadowice
AM : Departure to Oświęcim to visit the former Auschwitz-Birkenau concentration camp, a place of remembrance and reflection of Nazi atrocities during the Second World War.
PM : Transfer to Kalwaria Zebrzydowska to visit the Basilica of Our Lady of the Angels. Continue to Wadowice - birthplace of Pope JP II. Dinner and overnight at hotel.
Day 5 : Wadowice - Zakopane
AM : Visit the birthplace of Pope John Paul II, now a museum and the parish church of Wadowice.
PM : Zakopane - winter capital of Poland and third most visited city after Warsaw and Cracow, in the heart of the Tatra National Park. Arrival in Zakopane, typical folklore dinner in a a regional inn with music, songs and mountaineer dances. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 6 : Zakopane - Szczawnica
AM : Visit the historic center of Zakopane with the oldest wooden church and its cemetery decorated by local artisans (Na Peksowym Brzyzku).
PM : Continue to Szczawnica, located in the National Park Pieniny, one of the most beautiful places in the region. Go rafting in the Dunajec River on traditional wooden rafts accompanied by raftsman (Flisak). Arrival in Cracow, transfer to hotel, dinner and overnight.
Day 7 : Wieliczka - Cracow - Łagiewniki
AM : Visit Sanctuary of the Divine Mercy in Lagiewniki, located on the outskirts of Cracow, near the Solvay Factory where Karol Wojtyla was working during World War II.
PM : Road to Nowa Huta, Stalinist new town built for mill workers. Visit the Ark of the Lord Church built under communism in the time of Cardinal Wojtyla. Continue to Wieliczka and tour in the Wieliczka Salt Mine, listed as a UNESCO World Heritage.
Day 8 : Departure
