Package Overview

Barsheni village is the starting point of your Pin Parvati Trek from where you will be led to Rudranath Camp after crossing the fascinating trails. Rudranath to Khirganga watching the beautiful Parvati River and the evergreen forests and picturesque meadows would be a highlighted version of your trek. Tunda Bhuj campsite awaiting your arrival can be reached after crossing some more astounding landscapes and rough trails that would enable you to spot some of the most regular species of birds coming to visit the region.
Mantalai and the charming lake are the jovial hosts of you in between the journey to arrive the Pin Parvati camp. There, you will be driven to immerse into the abyss created by the verdant greenery present everywhere near, the brooks, the flowery meadows and the high glaciers and what not- each sight around you will remarkably stuck into your head for sure.

Day wise Itinerary

• Day 1 : Receiving at Rumsu base camp. Acclimatization walk. Overnight at Rumsu base camp.

  All the participants will report at Rumsu base camp by 8 AM and will undergo registration process. Freshening up and breakfast will happen at the base camp. Post breakfast we will go for an acclimatization walk.
  Lunch at 1 PM. Post lunch orientation. Orientation will cover all the general instructions that could be helpful for the trek like back packing, marching technique and medical awareness. Post snacks we will have an ice breaking session.
  Overnight stay at Rumsu base camp.

• Day 2 : Trek from Barshaini to Kheer ganga. Level: Moderate. Overnight stay at Kheer Ganga.

  All the participant will leave the base camp by 8 AM with their breakfast and packed lunch to start the trek. We will start with a jeep ride for Barshaini from Rumsu. We will trek from Barshaini till Kheer Ganga, the first day campsite. It takes around 4-5 hours to complete this part of the trek. The trek is easy with less ascend. There is a small village(Nathan) and then a bridge over the ferocious Parvati which comes across during the trek to Kheer Ganga. The place is known for its hot water spring. Don’t forget to take a dip in it. Overnight stay at Kheer Ganga.

• Day 3 : Trek from Khirganga to Tunda Bhuj (10,500ft)

  While on today's trek, you will be ascending through a gradual trail that will take you through scenic meadows, stream and temporary bridge. On this journey, you can also witness the mesmeric beauty of the Parvati River and several species of birds. After around 1 hour of this trek, the trails will start gaining height while offering you panoramic views of the Parvati Valley. Finally after trekking for around 5 hours, you will reach the Tunda Bhuj campsite; relax and spend overnight in the camp.

• Day 4 : Trek from Tunda Bhuj to Thakur Kuan (11,000ft)

  Today's journey of this Pin Parvati Trek will take you magnificent valleys and several bridges! Begin the day with an easy ascend through verdant grazing ground and flowery meadows. On crossing these beautiful landscapes, arrive near a bridge that will be considerably long; and requires some additional amount of time to cross.
  Hereafter, there will be a change in the trek as the terrains will start gaining some heights; however, these sturdy terrains will last only for 15-30 minutes. Post this; the journey will continue through gradual trails through an uneven and rocky meadow. Finally, after crossing the Pandu Bridge and continuing the hike towards Parvati River, you will arrive at the Thakur Kuan campsite by evening; dinner and overnight stay in the camp.

• Day 5 : Trek from Thakur Kuan to RubiThach. Level: Difficult. Overnight stay at RubiThach.

  The trek takes around 4-5 hours and runs almost plain with some intermediate ascend. There are two difficult bridges on the way which are made up of big individual rock boulders. The bridge is known as Pandavbridge and it’s believed that Bheem, one of the Pandavas made it. The place is commonly visited by shepherds for it's rich pasture.

• Day 6 : Trek from Mantalai to Parvati side base camp. Level: Difficult. Overnight stay at Parvati side base camp

  The main ascend of the trek starts from Mantalai till Parvati side base camp. There is a big stream that comes on the way known as Kala Khornalla. Care should be taken while crossing and its advisable that it gets crossed before 10 AM, when the flow is minimum. We will then start with the descend till Parvati side base camp. Hard snow bed could be found on the way to the camp site.

• Day 7 : Trek from Parvati side base camp to Pin side base camp. Level: Difficult. Overnight stay at Pin side base camp.

  The trek from Parvati side base camp to Pine side base camp starts early in the morning by 6 AM so that we cross the glacier patch before the sun comes out and makes it slippery. Peaks like South Parvati and Ganesh could be seen just before reaching the Pass. The top of the pass has a small temple.
  The descend till Pin side base camp is moderately average as some part of it goes on glacier and other on scree. After the descend is done, we will cross the Pine Nala with help of rope to reach Pin side base camp.

• Day 8 : Ride to Manali and departure.

  We will start for Manali early by 6 AM from Kaza. One will come across the famous Kunzum top(4,590 mts.) which connects the Kullu Valley and Lahaul Valley with the Spiti Valley of Himachal Pradesh and Rohtang Pass(13,000 ft) while riding to Manali. Departure by 6 PM.
