This hiking trail will give you an opportunity to visit many beautiful lakes, temples and explore through the caves of Pokhara.

Pokhara Sarangkot Hiking starts from Naudanda. We drive from Pokhara to Naudanda via car. On the first day of our hiking we explore the beautiful city of lakes Pokhara visiting most of the alpine lakes like Phewa Lake, Rupa Lake, and Begnas lake Explore through the caves like Mahendra cave, Chamero cave, Brindabasini temple and many more. From Pokhara we hike up to the hill of Sarankot passing through the beautiful hills strewn with many types of plants, forests, river, traditional Gurung village offering you the most spectacular views of the high glaciated mountains view in the world. You also get an opportunity to explore and experience the typical culture and lifestyle of the Gurung people. From Sarankot you can enjoy the best sunrise view rising between the mountains and shimmering snowy peaks of the mountain like Annapurna (8091m/ 26,545ft), Manasalu (8165m/ 26,781ft), Ganesh Himal (7446m/ 24,422ft), Dhaulagiri (8167m/ 26,795ft), Machhapuchare (the sacred mountain) and 25 other mountains over 6000 meters (19,680ft) high.

Day wise Itinerary

• Day 1 :

  We receive you at Kathmandu Airport and transfer to hotel

• Day 2 :

  You will have full day Kathmandu valley sightseeing to some of the world heritage sites like Kathmandu durbar square, Pashupatinath temple, Swoyambhunath and many more.

• Day 3 :

  We fly to Pokhara from Kathmandu in early flight.

• Day 4 :

  Drive to Naudanda by car and hike to Sarangkot, via Chhetri and Brahmins Villages, beautiful hills offering the magnificent view of Himalayan ranges such as the Annapurna Himal massif, Himchuli, Machhapuchhre, and Lamjung Himal

• Day 5 :

  Early in the morning we climb to the sunrise view point in Sarankot for sunrise view from Himalayan range. From there we descend down to Pokhara via same route.

• Day 6 :

  From Pokhara we come back to Kathmandu by tourist bus

• Day 7 :

  Departure
