Day Hike Tour in Nagarkot is one of the best Kathmandu Day Hiking. We will head northeast and follow Araniko Highway for 90minutes to cover 32km which will take us to Ngarkot view. It is the famous hill station offering spectacular sunrise view over Everest. Besides sunrise view, you can also enjoy mountain views of Eastern Himalayan Range from Dhaulagiri in west to Everest in East and panoramic view of Kathmandu Valley. We will begin Nagarkot Changunaryan Hiking and pass through Tamang villages where we can taste locally brewed mead called chang. Changunarayan trekking route progresses through the dense coniferous forest where we can have ample opportunities of watching floras and faunas. After brief climb, we will pursue the flat trail for couple of hours with the mountain views at the backdrop to reach ChanguNarayan Temple which is the UNESCO enlisted cultural heritage. It holds the idol of Lord Vishnu and is one of the oldest temples in Kathmandu which was built in 4th century. Changunarayan offers views of Sankhu Village as well as Bhaktapur. Hiking in Nagarkot ends at Changu Narayan from where you will be transferred back to the hotel in Kathmandu.
