Overview
If you are looking to learn more about the culture and history of Juneau and Alaska, this is the tour for you. Starting near the Mt. Robert’s tram, we walk at a casual pace along the sea walk and into the depths of downtown. We break away from the typical tourist loop and go only where the locals wander. This tour is yours so we can keep things flexible and do what you want. Some common places to visit is the Governor’s Mansion, Capital Building, Russian Orthodox Church, and many other gems you probably haven’t thought of. We like to end it with a beer tasting at a local pub, such as the Alaskan Hotel & Bar to relax and tell more stories. However, everything is flexible and your guide can recommend other fun hangouts.

Distance: ~1.25 miles of walking on paved surfaces. Some moderate hills.
Duration: 2 hours. Usually 1 1/2 hours on the streets and a 1/2 hour at a local pub or cafe. Your choice.
