Buffet Breakfast at Hotel and proceed for Full day city tour of Old & New Delhi
Morning city tour of Old Delhi visiting ‘Shahjahanabad’, founded by one of the greatest Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan. Your introduction to the city will be with a visit to Jama Masjid. Drive past the Red Fort - the magical monument in red sandstone, built at the pinnacle of the Mogul empire.
Jama Masjid This great mosque of Old Delhi is the largest in India, with a courtyard capable of holding 25,000 devotees. It was begun in 1644 and ended up being the final architectural extravagance of Shah Jahan, the Mughal emperor who built the Taj Mahal and the Red Fort.
Afternoon tour of New Delhi visiting Humayun’s Tomb - the first great example of a new distinctive style, which developed to become the hallmark of the Mughal Dynasty. Also visit Qutab Minar (Tower of Victory) - built to establish the might of Islam and onset of Muslim rule in India. Also drive past India Gate & Govt. buildings.
Humayun’s tomb is the tomb of the Mughal Emperor Humayun’s in Delhi, India. The tomb was commissioned by Humayun’s first wife Bega Begum in 1569-70. It was the first garden-tomb on the Indian subcontinent and the first structure to use red sandstone at such a scale.
Qutub Minar originally an ancient Islamic Monument, inscribed with Arabic inscriptions, and is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Located in Delhi, the Qutub Minar is made of red sandstone and marble. The stairs of the tower has 379 steps, is 72.5 Meters (237.8 ft) high, and has a base diameter of 14.3 meters, which narrows to 2.7 meters at the top.

Day 3 : Delhi - Agra
Buffet breakfast at hotel. After breakfast check out from hotel and drive to Agra (approc 4 hrs drive), Upon arrival check in at hotel.
Afternoon proceed to visit Agra fort & sunset visit Taj Mahal .
Later visit the Great Fort of Agra, an outstanding example of Mughal architecture and the seat and stronghold of the Mughal Empire under successive generations. Originally planned as an impregnable military structure by Akbar, the Agra Fort, over a period of time, acquired all the elegance, lavishness and majesty of an imperial palace. Situated 1 km upstream of the Taj Mahal, on the right bank of the Yamuna, the Agra fort was built under the direction of Akbar.
Later Sunset visit Taj Mahal (Closed on Friday) referred to as one of the wonders of the world, the Taj Mahal in Agra is the epitome of tourism in India and is celebrated for its architectural magnificence and aesthetic beauty. A symphony in white marble, a tribute to eternal love, it was built by the Emperor Shah Jahan in memory of his wife Mumtaz Mahal. There are tombs of Mumtaz and Shahjahan within the mausoleum. Done in white marble, it took 22 years and over 20,000 workers and craftsmen to complete this rhapsody in stone (1630-52 AD). The main structure is set amidst landscaped gardens. While on three sides it is surrounded by high walls, the rear is bound by the river Yamuna.

After breakfast you will visit Amber Fort (Up/ down by Elephant / Jeeps) with a photo stop at the Hawa Mahal (Palace of Winds) - a five-storied wonder with a spectacular pyramidal facade and overhanging windows with latticed screens, domes and spires. Continue on drive to the ancient capital of Amer to see the fabulous Amber Fort, situated on a ridge just outside Jaipur city. Maharaja Mansingh, Mughal Emperor Akbar’s most successful General, started the construction of Amber Fort in the 17th century. Before the City Palace was constructed in Jaipur, Amber was the seat of power. The fort is surrounded by fortified battlements and overlooks the Moat Lake. Ruins and remains are spread over the Aravalli hills and sprawling crenellated walls lattice the surrounding area.
Continue to enjoy your tour of the Pink City, an “abode of rajahs”. The highlights of the tour include a visit to the City Palace Museum, which has a superb collection of Rajasthani costumes, and armory of Mughals and Rajputs including swords of different shapes and sizes with chiseled handles. Many antiques and artifacts belonging to the ruling family are housed here, including a collection of weaponry. It also has an art gallery with an excellent collection of miniature paintings, carpets, royal paraphernalia and rare astronomical works in Arabic, Persian, Latin and Sanskrit.
Proceed to the awe inspiring Jantar Mantar Observatory, a stone astrological and astronomical Observatory built by Maharaja Jai Singh in the 18th century.
Also visit The Birla Temple, originally known as Lakshmi Narayan Temple, situated below the Moti Dungri Fort in Jaipur. Dedicated to Lord Vishnu and Goddess Lakshmi, this temple is a proud architectural landmark of Jaipur. Built in pure white marble, the Birla Temple is unlike the traditional ancient Hindu temples, and is built with a modern approach. A work of art, this temple truly represents architectural beauty, in a modern form

Morning visit Elephanta Caves (closed on Monday and during the monsoons). Located across the sea from the Gateway of India and accessible by ferry is the island of Elephant that has rock-cut cave temples dedicated to Lord Shiva. Little is known about their origins but they are thought to have been created between 450 and 750 AD. The most famous sculpture here is the Trimurti, representing the three-headed Shiva where the god is depicted as the trinity of the creator, the preserver and the destroyer. There are also figures of Shiva dancing the tandava, the marriage of Shiva and Parvati and one in which Shiva appears as Ardhanareshwar, uniting both sexes in one body.
Afternoon proceed for city tour of Mumbai - visiting Gateway of India, Mumbai's principle landmark; Prince of Wales Museum (closed on Monday), Fish Aquarium, Jain Temple, Hanging Gardens on the slopes of Malabar Hills offering panoramic view of Marine Lines and Chowpati Beach, Kamla Nehru Park, Mani Bhawan (the house where the Father of the Nation stayed on his early visits to the city) and Dhobi Ghat. Also drive past Afghan Church, Flora Fountain (the city’s nerve-centre), colourful Crawford Market and Marine Drive, the seafront boulevard also known as the Queen’s Necklace.
Note # Mani Bhawan is open all days and maybe closed any 3 days in a year for pest control. Museum opening/ closing timing: 1000-1730 hours.
