• Day 1 : Arrive Bhubaneswar *On to Puri

  Welcome to Bhubaneshwar, the Capital of Orissa! On arrival at the airport / railway station in Bhubaneswar, you will be transferred on a picturesque drive to Puri. En route visit Lord Lingaraja Temple. Thereafter visit the colourful village of Pipli where you can purchase local handicrafts and the famous applique work. Later, check into your hotel.

• Day 2 : Puri * Excursion to Konark

  In the morning, visit the famous Jagannath Temple, the pulsating pilgrimage centre of the city. The temple is dedicated to Lord Jagannath (Lord Krishna) who is also called the Lord of the Universe. The temple's pillars are adorned with pictures depicting various stages and scenes from Lord Krishna's life.
  Enjoy a stroll through the bustling bazaar and visit the main temple complex. The tour continues with a visit to Konark that houses a colossal temple dedicated to the Sun God. Even in its ruined state its magnificence reflects the genius of its architects who envisioned and built it. The Sun Temple of Konark is one of the most stunning historic monuments of religious architecture. Also known as Arka -Tirtha (Surya Temple), Konark Sun Temple India is a 13th century Hindu temple built by the King Narasimhadeva I of the Eastern Ganga Dynasty. Konark Temple is designed in the shape of a colossal chariot with seven horses and twenty four wheels, carrying the Sun God, Lord Surya.
