Puttaparthi is situated on the bank of river Chitravathi in the Anantapur district of Indian state Andhra Pradesh. Puttaparthi was the residence of the notable spiritual teacher Sathya Sai Baba. The town's main attraction is Baba's Prasanthi Nilayam ashram. Apart from the main Ashram, Puttaparthi has other places of interest like a Hanuman temple, a village mosque and Sathyabhama temple. Sathyabhama is well known locally as 'Sathyamma' and the temple was built by Late Kondama Raju, grandfather of Sri Sathya Sai Baba.

Day wise Itinerary

• Day 1 : Chennai - Puttaparthi

  Morning pick-up from advised location/Airport in Chennai & drive to Puttaparthi. On arrival in Puttaparthi check into the hotel. Evening free for leisure or relaxation. Overnight stay.

• Day 2 : Puttaparthi

  Morning at leisure. After breakfast full day tour of Puttaparthi, visit Anjaneya (Hanuman) Swamy Temple, Sathya Sai Ashram (Prasanthi Nilayam), Gopuram or Ganesh Gate (Entry point to the Ashram through which Sai Baba leaves or comes back to the Ashram) and Meditation Tree (A banyan tree planted by Sai Baba in the serene premises of the Ashram is the meditation tree. It has gained much significance in the routine life of the inmates of the Ashram) Evening return back to the hotel for Overnight stay.

• Day 3 : Puttaparthi - Chennai

  Morning at leisure. After breakfast free time for relaxation. Afternoon drive back to Chennai. On arrival in Chennai transfer to advised location or Airport.
  End of the services.
