Embrace the fantastic MTB scene in Queenstown and experience some of the best XC and DH biking that has made it a world class biking destination.
This package will give you access to a wide selection of MTB trails and gives you best of both worlds, XC free riding and pure downhill riding. Also included are return airport shuttles, centrally located apartments in Queenstown and premium MTB hire.

A full day is included at the world class gondola assisted Queenstown Bike Park in the heart of downtown, plus a half day of shuttles via bike taxi to some nearby DH tracks favoured by the Queenstown locals.

You also get the chance to get your pedal on at some of our awesome local XC and Freeride hubs, perfect for those who don't mind earning the turn!

Day wise Itinerary

• Day 1 : Arrival

  After collecting you from Queenstown airport and getting you checked in to your accommodation, we'll collect your MTB rentals and Bike Taxi transfer you to our local favourite free ride hub, 7 Mile.
  
  This fantastic park found on the fringe of Queenstown has superb purpose built single track that is fast and flowy with plenty of berms, banked corners, features and jumps. There is one main trail to pedal to the top, which gives you access to The Hub, Eagles Nest and Dream Arena where there is an almost endless amount of excellent looping trails to ride.
  7 Mile has been designed so that all trails are one way, which means you'll find yourself riding up the main access route and down single track every time.
  
  You'll want to allow 3+ hours to experience some great riding and really appreciate 7 mile, and on the way back to Queenstown we can offer additional shuttles to more local XC and DH trail options.
  
  Night 1 in Queenstown Apartment

• Day 2 : Queenstown Bike Park

  Full day pass to the legendary Queenstown Bike Park. The QBP is located 450m above Queenstown in the Ben Lomond Reserve, and is accessed by Skyline's gondola assisted bike lift.
  
  This epic hub features 27 world class mountain biking trails in amongst the pine trees, boasts 30km of tracks with the longest run of 6km.
  
  There's a wide variety of awesome downhill tracks to cater for all abilities of rider, and the park incorporates great features throughout plus a dedicated jump line.
  
  Night 2 in Queenstown Apartment

• Day 3 : Departure

  Today includes 3 hours of awesome bike taxi shuttles to some of the best downhill trails that the area offers geared towards your experience.
  
  A standard morning programme could be to head up to Coronet Peak ski field and access the truly awesome Rude Rock Track. This 3km+ custom built single track high above Queenstown is simply superb in all aspects. The smooth, well-maintained trail twists and turns through stunning alpine tussock and offer spectacular views into Skippers Canyon and over Lake Wakatipu and the entire basin
  
  After a few laps here we'll descend a little lower down the mountain and sun laps on Zoot Track via the Skippers Saddle. This well known and eagerly sought out trail is a Queenstown must-do that is fast and fun and has something for all ability of riders.
  
  Alternatively, we could opt for shuttles at the Wynyard Express DH Track which offers heaps of cool features, flowing berms and a some steep sections. At the mid-point there is the legendary Mini Dream Jump Park and access to the epic Dream Track. This is where you check out the top dogs laying it down and of course, represent yourself!
  
  After lapping it here we head out of town and across the basin to the Remarkables DH Trail found in the foothills of the Remarkables range. This rugged and rocky 2km+ ride see's less trail maintenance and will almost certainly keep you on your toes. It's fast and fun with good variation and a great way to finish your trip.
