Everything about Rajasthan fascinates a visitor to this exotic land. From the shimmering sands of the Thar Desert in the west across the Aravalli hills to the great cities of the eastern plains, this historic Indian heartland captivates all with echoes of a glorious past.

We see a dazzling palette of colours all around. Visit glittering palaces and imposing forts and experience traditional hospitality - an important ingredient of the local culture. We start our tour with a sunset visit to the incomparable Taj Mahal in Agra
followed by a thrilling encounter with wild tigers at Ranthambore National Park.

We explore Rajasthan’s rich heritage in Jaipur –also called the Pink City, and at Pushkar – a pilgrimage site famous for its Brahma temple and the holy lake – one of India’s most beautiful locations. For a completely different experience we journey into
the Thar Desert on a full-day camel safari and spend a cool tranquil night under the stars in a desert camp. Later in the tour, a gentle three-day trek through the rolling Aravalli hills – marked by beautiful meadows, wild forests, plunging waterfalls and an array of birdlife – brings another aspect of Rajasthan into focus. Along the way we also visit Kumbalgarh Fort and the magnificent Jain temple of Ranakpur.

The final leg of our tour journeys south to romantic Udaipur with its majestic palace and glittering temples ranged around a serene lake.

Day wise Itinerary

• Day 1 : Agra

  Arrive in Delhi in the morning and transfer to Agra. In the afternoon visit Taj Mahal, the symbol of eternal love expressed in the most exquisite building in the world. Overnight Hotel

• Day 2 : Ranthambore

  Get up early today for the sunrise visit to the Taj Mahal once again; then drive to Ranthambore National Park in Sawai Madhopur. En route visit Fatehpur Sikri, the abandoned palace built by Mohd. Akbar, the 3rd Mughal king. Overnight Hotel

• Day 3 : Ranthambore

  Today enjoy two game drives into Ranthambore National Park. One very early in the morning and the other in late afternoon to spot the elusive tiger. Overnight Hotel

• Day 4 : Jaipur

  In the morning after breakfast transfer to Jaipur, the ‘Pink City’ and the capital of Rajasthan. Check into the hotel and enjoy free afternoon to explore the markets of the city. Overnight Hotel
• Day 5 : Jaipur

  In the sightseeing programme of Jaipur visit the City Palace, Jantar Mantar (the 18th century observatory), Hawa Mahal (the Palace of Winds) and the majestic Amer Fort. Overnight Hotel

• Day 6 : Bikaner

  Today after breakfast drive to Bikaner. As the drive is long the rest of the day after check-in is free to relax. One may wish to explore the city. Overnight Hotel

  In the local sightseeing programme of Bikaner visit Junagarh Fort, havelis and Jain temples. Later drive to desert camp, en route visit rat temple at Deshnok. Overnight Camp

  Today enjoy a full-day camel safari in the Thar Desert and return to the camp late in the afternoon to enjoy free time. Overnight Camp

• Day 9 : Pushkar

  After breakfast drive to Pushkar, the holy town for Hindus. In the sightseeing programme visit the famous holy lake and Brahma temple, the only temple in India dedicated to Lord Brahma. Overnight Hotel

• Day 10 : Pushkar

  Today is the day for a short hike to Savitri Temple on the top of Ratnagiri Hill within the town. Evening is free to explore the pilgrimage town further. Overnight Hotel

• Day 11 : Kumbalgarh

  This morning drive to Kumbalgarh, a small place at the foothills of Aravalli Range of mountains. In the afternoon visit Kumbalgarh Fort, a Mewar Fortress on the westerly range of Aravalli Hills. Overnight Hotel
• Day 12 : Kumbalgarh

  After breakfast start a fairly long trek over the Aravalli Mountains with beautiful views all around and return to Kumbalgarh in the afternoon. Overnight Hotel
• Day 13 : Udaipur

  A short drive to Phota Deval, then trek to Ranakpur through dense forests to the magnificent Jain temple. Later drive to Udaipur, the romantic lake town of Rajasthan. Overnight Hotel
• Day 14 : Udaipur

  In the Udaipur sightseeing programme visit City Palace, Jagdish temple and Sahelion-Ki-Bari. Enjoy Optional boating on Pichola Lake in the afternoon / evening. Overnight Hotel

  • Hotspots City Palace
• Day 15 : Delhi

  In the morning transfer to the airport at Udaipur for flight to Delhi. Rest of the day is free to explore the local markets in Delhi. Overnight Hotel
• Day 16 : Delhi

  The tour concludes. Transfer to the International Airport for flights to respective destinations.
