Day 1 : Delhi
Catch a flight to Delhi. On arrival you will be escorted to hotel by our representative.
Overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 2 : Delhi
In Delhi you will encounter a blend of mesmerizing historical places, government buildings and bazaars. The city posses lots of worth watching places in its lap.
Sightseeing of Old and New Delhi:
Shahjahanabad (Old Delhi) is a 7th city of Delhi which was built by Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan (1639-48 AD). The Red Fort of Delhi cast in red sandstones is surrounded by 33m high boundary wall. The fort has exquisite palaces and beautiful gardens inside it. Jama Masjid, India’s largest mosque, cast in red sandstone and white marble was built in 1656. Raj Ghat, Gandhi’s memorial place lies in the midst of landscaped gardens. There is a simple square platform in the park made of black marble with words “Hey Ram” inscribed on it.
Afternoon sightseeing of New Delhi.
Humayun’s Tomb, a true reflection of Mughal architecture, was built Haji Begum, wife of Humayun. Visit Qutub Minar, huge tower of victory which was completed in 1368. The tower is now listed as UNESCO World Heritage Site. Further, enjoy city visit to various places like Parliament House – The Government Headquarters, India Gate - The memorial of martyrs, Laxmi Narayan Temple – The Place of Gods.

Day 3 : Delhi/Rishikesh (246 Kms)
After a sumptuous breakfast in the morning, set off for Rishikesh. On the way visit Haridwar- one of the seventh holy cities of India. You will spot many holy men preaching wisdom to the pilgrims, sadhus residing in makeshift shelter under trees.
Continue to drive to Rishikesh for one hour. Rishikesh, located on the foothills of Himalayas is considered an important pilgrimage center and major seats of Hindu philosophy. The city is also gateway to the Garhwal Himalayas and connects to char dham pilgrimage that are: Badrinath, Kedarnath, Gangotri and Yamunotri. On arrival to Rishikesh, check in at the hotel.

Day 6 : Rishikesh/Chandigarh
Sightseeing of Chandigarh on arrival:
The capital city of Punjab, Chandigarh is renowned for unique tourist destination. Designed by Le Corbusier, the French architect, this beautiful city is the first city of India that serves as the capital of two states: Punjab & Hariyana.

Day 7 : Chandigarh/Dharamshala
After breakfast enjoy touring Chandigarh covering Rock Garden- created by Nek Chand with discarded items such as bottle tops, tin cans, etc, The Rose Garden- one of the largest gardens of Asia, The Government Museum and Art Gallery (Monday Closed).

Day 8 : Dharamshala
Visit Tibetan Namgyal Monastery, called little Lhasa. The monastery has huge gilded bronze of the Buddha. At the monastery you will spot numerous animated monks debating and doing the Morning Prayer. Coincidentally, you will probably meet the Dalai Lama face to face. Visit to St. Johns Church, built in 1860 by the British, is attractively designed with stained glass windows.

Day 9 : Dharamshala/Amritsar
After breakfast drive to Amritsar. On arrival, check in at the hotel.
In 1577 Amritsar was founded by Guru Ram Das, the fourth Sikh guru. The Golden Temple, a very sacred and religious building of Sikhs exhibits both Hindu and Muslim styles of architecture.

Day 10 : Amritsar/Delhi/Home
Sightseeing of Amritsar:
The city of Amritsar is globally famous for Golden Temple and the unfortunate Jallianwala Bagh tragedy. Next to the Golden Temple is the Akal Takht established by Guru Har Gobind Singh in the early 17 century. This is the supreme seat of Sikh temporal authority.
Another visit at Amritsar is to see a 9 storey tower, built in the memory of Baba Atal Rai. The tower is decked with frescoes depicting the life of Guru Nanak Dev Ji, the founder of Sikhism. Next to the tower is Durgiana Temple which is dedicated to goddess Durga. The temple was established in 16th century. Some temples are dedicated to Goddess Laxmi and God Narayan.
In the evening transfer to the railway station to connect Shatabdi Express train to Delhi (1705/2250 hrs - Operates daily except Monday).
On arrival in Delhi transfer to the hotel.
Transfer to the airport to connect International flight back home.
