Day wise Itinerary

• Day 1 : Da Nang Taor ( west)

  We get an early start and head west to visit Dai Loc, Hills 37, 65, and 52, and Liberty Bridge (northern end). We cross the Vu Gia river into the Arizona Territory. We will spend the time needed in these areas. As we return to Da Nang we stop at Hill 55, 7th Marine Regimental Hill. Overnight in Danang.

• Day 2 : Da Nang - Antena Valley - Hoi An

  Head south on Highway 1 and cross to the southern side of the Thu Bon River. We follow west paralleling to the southern edge of Go Noi Island to Liberty Bridge (southern end). Next is a special visit to the My Son Holyland located deep in the foothills of the Que Son Mountains. (My Son is the site of Trakieu, the ancient capital of the Cham Kingdom and contains ruins dating back to the 5th Century). We explore the An Hoa Combat Base and then continue southwest up and over the Thu Bon River Pass into Antenna Valley and return east through the Que Son's to LZ Ross and LZ Baldy. Drive back to Hoian for hotel check-in. Overnight in Hoian.

• Day 3 : Hoi An - Chu Lai - My Lai Massacre Site

  Early depart for Quang Ngai on Highway 1. We will pass the Chu Lai airbase and visit Hill 43. On arrival at My Lai, we will walk around the village visiting the old massacre site, memorial and the museum. Get back to Hoian.
