Lady's Slipper Orchid (Cypripedioideae spp.)
The last one on this list of floral gems in Bhutan is the Lady's Slipper Orchid. Known for its distinctive slipper-shaped blooms, these orchids are rare and endangered. They are found in the temperate forests of Bhutan, growing in shaded areas among the moss-covered rocks and tree roots.

Day 1 : Arrival in Paro
Arrive at Paro International Airport.
Our guide and driver will receive you from the airport.
Visit Tachog Lhakhang: “temple of the hill of the excellent horse” was built by Thangtong Gyalpo in 1443.
Visit Handicraft market: Bhutanese art work site in the town where souvenirs are available.
Visit Motithang Takin Preserve. The local mythology related to declaring Takin as the national animal of Bhutan is dated to the 15th century. The takin is believed that the head of the goat is fixed it to the skeleton of the cow by the Divine Madman great Lam Drukpa Kuenlay.
Day 2 : Thimphu-Lam Pelri Botanical Park
Attend Rhododendron Festival and interact with the locals.
Enjoy the wonderful dances and beauty of park filled with flora species.
Hike to Khamsum Yulley Namgayl Chorten.
Day 3 : Punakha and Wangdue
Visit Punakha Dzong built in 1637 by Zhabdrung Ngawang Namgayl and is a winter residence of Je Khenpo
Experience walking across the longest suspension bridge in Bhutan measuring 160 metre length
Visit Chimi Lhakhang. It was built in 1499 and it stands on a round hillock.
Day 4 : Punakha to Paro
Visit Buddha Dordenma Statue. It is largest Buddha Statue in the world with 177 feet (54 m) and contains 100,000 8-inch-tall and 25,000 12-inch-tall gilded bronze Buddhas.
Visit Changangkha Lhakhang one of the oldest monasteries built by Nyima the son of Phajo Drugom Zhigpo in 13th Century.
Visit National Museum. It was established in 1968. National Museum has in its possession over 3,000 works of Bhutanese art, covering more than 1,500 years of Bhutan's cultural heritage.
Visit Kyichu Lhakhang. It was originally built in 7th century and Padmasambhava visited in 8th century.
Day 5 : Departure
Depart from Paro Airport.
