Day wise Itinerary

Day 1 : ARRIVAL IN SANTIAGO

We pick you up at the airport and bring you to your hotel. After a few hours during which you can rest or enjoy a meal, we pick you up for a walking tour through Santiago. A great opportunity to get to know the financial, political and cultural center of Chile.
Day 2 : SANTIAGO – FARELLONES – SKIING/SNOWBOARDING IN VALLE NEVADO

Early in the morning we leave Santiago and drive for about 1 hour to the small village of Farellones, located at 2,200m. The village lies in open alpine terrain overlooking Santiago, surrounded by several 4,000m and 5,000m peaks. Thanks to its location, Farellones has become the most important winter sports village in Chile. In its immediate surroundings lie 3 ski resorts which together make up the largest ski development in South America. Upon arrival we check in at the hotel and then continue to Valle Nevado ski resort. Here we can choose between groomed runs of all levels, technical couloirs and the extensive off-piste terrain that Valle Nevado has to offer.
Day 3 : SKIING/SNOWBOARDING IN LA PARVA

Today, we ski in La Parva where we spend the day discovering its runs and a number of hidden spots. The elevation of the ski resort ranges from 2,800m to 3,700m and offers a wide variety of groomed and off-piste terrain, from very easy trails to slopes with over 50º declines. At the end of the day we can enjoy Farellones’ great après-ski, mix with the locals, try some good Chilean wine and food, relive the day and plan for the next one.
Day 4 : SKIING/SNOWBOARDING IN EL COLORADO

Today we ski in El Colorado, the third ski resort in the area. Here nearly all the runs face west, which allows for sun all day long. El Colorado offers a unique selection of world-class groomed runs as well as steep terrain and chutes, all accessible from the lifts. Depending on the group we can ski some hidden runs and enjoy the backcountry. On this last evening in Farellones we arrange a small Chilean wine tasting at the hotel.
Day 5 : SKIING/SNOWBOARDING IN VALLE NEVADO – HACIENDA LOS LINGUES

This morning we can choose from a variety of options, depending on the group’s motivation and the conditions. In the afternoon, we choose a backcountry run that takes us as low as possible. From there, we jump in the car and drive to our hotel for the night, a traditional old Hacienda (farm) where a hot bath and an amazing dinner are waiting for us.
Day 6 : HACIENDA LOS LINGUES – TERMAS DE CHILLÁN

We begin our day with an early morning drive south along the Panamericana highway across Chile’s Central Valley. On the way, we come across some important cultural sites, some of the country’s most famous vineyards and a colorful mix of farmlands and landscapes. In Chillán we enjoy a traditional local lunch and visit the town market where you can browse the stalls searching for wood and silver handicrafts made by the Mapuches. From Chillán we drive westwards through farmlands and the native Lenga forest to Termas de Chillán, a village that sits nestled between volcanoes and which is famous for its skiing and thermal springs. After we check in, we spend the rest of the afternoon enjoying the surroundings, the unique views and the warmth of the lodge.
Day 7 : SKIING/SNOWBOARDING IN TERMAS DE CHILLÁN AREA

We now have 3 full days to discover the vast and diverse alpine terrain and the deep valleys of the Lenga forest in the midst of Chillán’s volcanoes. Nevado is located at 3,300m and offers everything from easy to challenging groomed slopes as well as some of the best freeride terrain in all of Chile. The long valleys and close summits of Vn. Chillán Nuevo and Vn. Chillan Viejo will be calling us. In Pirigallo, Changri-La and Valle Hermoso we have the opportunity to ski and snowboard in a deep hidden valley next to a volcano where all the runs end in a native beech forest. At night, we can choose to visit Las Trancas with its good nightlife or to stay in the hotel and enjoy the spa and a glass of red wine.
Day 8 : SKIING/SNOWBOARDING IN TERMAS DE CHILLÁN AREA

We now have 3 full days to discover the vast and diverse alpine terrain and the deep valleys of the Lenga forest in the midst of Chillán’s volcanoes. Nevado is located at 3,300m and offers everything from easy to challenging groomed slopes as well as some of the best freeride terrain in all of Chile. The long valleys and close summits of Vn. Chillán Nuevo and Vn. Chillan Viejo will be calling us. In Pirigallo, Changri-La and Valle Hermoso we have the opportunity to ski and snowboard in a deep hidden valley next to a volcano where all the runs end in a native beech forest. Day 9 : SKIING/SNOWBOARDING IN TERMAS DE CHILLÁN

Our last day to enjoy the slopes and our final chance to take our favorite run or to find some untouched Andean powder. In the evening, we have a delicious farewell dinner.
Day 10 : TERMAS DE CHILLÁN – SANTIAGO AIRPORT

Unfortunately, all good things must come to an end and today our skiing adventure ends as we drive back to Santiago for your international flight home. As we leave behind the ski slopes, we hope that you will carry with you many good memories of your experiences in Chile.

*If you don’t want to join us for the 5-hour drive back to Santiago, we can drop you off at the airport of Concepción (90-minute drive), from where you can catch a 1-hour flight to Santiago to connect with your international flight home.
